Palmistry, also known as hand reading or divination, is practiced all over the world. It originates from Indian astrology and gypsy fortune-telling and predicts the future of a person or his character along the lines of the hand. Are you a beginner palmist? 2. 2 Find the main lines. They can be short or intermittent, but at least three of them can be found on any palm.
   • (1) Heart line.

3. 3 Heart line. This line can be read in any direction (from the little finger to the index finger and vice versa), depending on the tradition. It is believed to represent emotional resilience, romantic prospects, depression, and heart health. Basic interpretations:
   • If the line starts below your index finger, then you will receive contentment in love.
   • It starts under the middle finger - selfishness in love.
   • It starts in the middle - falling in love.
   • Straight and short - a person with such a line is not prone to romance.
   • Comes in touch with the life line - it is easy to break the heart.
   • Long and curved - easily expresses emotions and feelings.
   • Straight and parallel to the line of the head - the ability to control emotions.
   • Wavy - many relationships, mistresses or lovers, but these relationships do not lead to anything serious.
   • A circle on the line is sadness or depression.
   • Breaking the line is an emotional trauma.
   • Small lines cross the line of the heart - emotional trauma.
4. 4 Head line. It means a person's ability to learn, communication, intelligence and thirst for knowledge. A curved line stands for creativity and spontaneity, while a straight line stands for practicality and a structured approach. Basic interpretations:
   • Short line - prefers physical achievement over mental.
   • Curved line - creativity.
   • Separated from the life line - life enthusiasm and thirst for adventure.
   • Wavy line - short attention span.
   • Deep, long line - clear and focused thinking.
   • A straight line is realistic thinking.
   • Circles or crosses on the line - an emotional crisis.

5. 5 Life line. It starts near the thumb and creates an arc towards the wrist. It reflects physical health, general well-being, and major life changes (eg, disasters, physical trauma, and relocation). Its length is not related to life expectancy. Basic interpretations:
   • The line is close to the thumb - frequent fatigue.
   • Sinuous - a lot of energy.
   • Long and deep - vitality.
   • Short and shallow - amenable to manipulation by other people.
   • It is located in a semicircle - strength and enthusiasm.
   • Straight and close to the edge of the palm - caution in relationships.
   • Multiple life lines - high vitality.
   • Circles on the line - hospital or injury.
   • A line break is an abrupt lifestyle change.
6. 6 Line of fate. This line determines the degree of dependence on uncontrollable external circumstances. It starts at the base of the palm. Basic interpretations:
   • Deep Line - Strongly controlled by fate.
   • It interrupts and changes direction - it is influenced by external forces.
   • It begins with the life line - he creates his own destiny.
   • In the middle, it connects with the life line - at some point, it will yield to the interests of other people.
   • Starts at the base of the thumb and crosses the lifeline - supporting family and friends.

Part 2 of 2: Palms, fingers and all-all-all.

1. 1 Hand shape. Certain character traits can be recognized by the shape of the hand. The length of the palm is measured from the wrist to the bottom of the fingers. Basic interpretations:
   • Earth - wide, square palms and fingers, thick or rough skin, ruddy color, the length of the palm is equal to the length of the fingers.
     • Solid values ​​and energy, sometimes stubbornness.
     • Practicality and responsibility, sometimes materialistic.
     • Likes to work with his hands.
   • Air - square or rectangular palms with long fingers, sometimes protruding joints, low-set thumbs, dry skin; the length of the palm is less than the length of the fingers.
     • Sociable, talkative and witty.
     • Can be petty, spiteful and cold.
     • Likes to work both mentally and with his hands.
     • He approaches work in a versatile and radical way.
   • Water - long, possibly oval-shaped palms, with long, flexible, tapered fingers; the length of the palm is equal to the length of the fingers, but less than the width at the widest part of the palm.
     • Creative, insightful and responsive.
     • Can be moody, emotional and withdrawn.
     • Introvert.
     • Works quietly and intuitively.
   • Fire - square or rectangular palm with ruddy or pink skin, short fingers, the length of the palm is longer than the length of the fingers.
     • Spontaneous, enthusiastic and optimistic.
     • Sometimes selfish, impulsive and insensitive.
     • Extrovert.
     • Works boldly and instinctively.
2. 2 Hillocks and hills. These are the very "fleshy" places under the fingers, which are located opposite the knuckles. To make them more visible, fold your hand in handfuls. Which of the bumps is the largest?
   • The high hill of Venus (under the thumb) is a propensity for hedonism, promiscuous sexual relations and momentary gain. The absence of the Venus Hill - lack of interest in family matters.
   • The hill of Jupiter is located under the index finger. A developed hill of Jupiter indicates dominance, selfishness and aggressiveness of character, and its absence indicates a lack of self-confidence.
   • The hill of Saturn is located under the middle finger. A developed hill indicates stubbornness, cynicism and a tendency to depression. If the hill of Saturn is poorly developed, then this indicates superficiality and disorganization.
   • The hill of the Sun is located under the ring finger. A developed hill indicates extravagance, pride, hot temper. If the hill is low, it indicates a problem with imagination.
   • Under the little finger is the hill of Mercury. If he is clearly visible, then the person is talkative, if not, then he is modest.
     • Of course, there is no scientific evidence for this. Moreover, palms change over time! Don't take palmistry too seriously.
3. 3 Look at the size of your palm and fingers. In palmistry, it is believed that those with small palms do not spend much time thinking about actions, such people prefer action to thoughts. The owners of large palms, respectively, have a contemplative character and are not quick to do things.
   • Of course, all this - only relative to body size... It is clear that a person is over two meters tall and the palm will be larger than that of a 4-year-old child. Proportions are what matters!
   • It is believed that long fingers indicate nervousness of character, a tendency to good manners and delicacy. Short fingers, respectively, indicate creativity, impatience, and high libido.
   • Long fingernails indicate kindness and an ability to keep secrets, short nails indicate critical and sarcastic. Almond-shaped nails are a sign of good character and diplomacy.

Tips

• Not everyone has a fate line!
• Don't believe everything.No matter what, you can always make your own decision.
• Try it on your hands first.
• Do this in good lighting; in the dark, you may not see everything and not correctly interpret certain signs.
• Don't worry about fine and small lines. Interpret the 4 main ones. Trying to decipher small lines can be confusing. Leave it to a professional.
• Palmistry is not an exact science. You don't have to base your life and decisions on fortune telling. The secret of success in life is your own efforts and fortitude.
• If you are going to read the lines on the palms of several people, and you cannot remember all the characteristics, make a list and mark the necessary.
• Make a diagram for the four main lines (life, destiny, heart, head) and the types of hands (fire, earth, air, and water). It is especially useful for novice palmists, and also helps to quickly remember the characteristics.
• If you're a beginner, try focusing on reading the heart and life lines first.
• In general, the more flexible the hand, the more flexible the person.

• Remember palmistry is fun; there is no evidence of a connection between the lines on the hand and psychological traits.
