- Wash your face thoroughly and dry it thoroughly, then apply baking soda to the pimples. You will feel a pain when you apply baking soda to open pimples.
- Let the baking soda soak into the pimple for 15 minutes, then rinse your face. Do not apply baking soda on a pimple and leave it overnight, as this can cause dry skin.
- Moisturize your skin after using baking soda to treat acne.
- Wash your face clean and dry, then apply a thin layer of baking soda to your entire face. Baking soda can make you feel a bit itchy and sore.
- Apply the mask for 10-15 minutes, then rinse your face with warm water. The skin may look a little red after applying the mask, but it will return to normal very quickly. Make sure to moisturize the skin after applying the mask.
Wash / exfoliate with baking soda. Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of water to make a smooth paste. You can add a little lemon juice if you want. The citric acid in lemons is also known to exfoliate the skin and help dry acne.
- Wash your face with warm water, then apply the mixture to your face. Gently massage the mixture onto your skin in circular motions and avoid rubbing too hard.
- Wash off the mixture with warm water and a towel. The face may become red after washing. You should moisturize your skin after exfoliation.
- Place half a cup of baking soda in a tub of warm water (do not add bath soap) and stir by hand.
- Soak yourself in the bath for at least 15-20 minutes. Take a shower with water after soaking.
- Baking soda helps prevent blemishes and minimizes blackheads from growing on the back, chest or any other acne-prone area on the body.
Advice
- Only wash your face 2 times a day. Washing your face too much can strip the skin of natural oils, increase sebum production and cause more acne.
- You should keep an eye on acne at about the same time to see which home remedies help treat acne most effectively.
Warning
- The skin is at risk of over-drying when using baking soda, so you should start applying it once a day, then gradually reduce it to 2-3 times per week if needed or as directed by your doctor.
- If your skin is dry and flaky, reduce the amount of baking soda to once a day or once a day.
