The village is a unique building built in the game Minecraft and is the residence of many villagers. There are many farms here for players to get food and many chests containing items. Steps
Method 1 of 4: On desktop
Open Minecraft. Select the Minecraft icon with an earth cube and click PLAY is at the bottom of Minecraft Launcher.
Click Singleplayer. This button is in the center of the Minecraft window. After clicking, you will see a list of single-player worlds.
Choose a world that allows you to cheat. Double click to download this world.To find the village in the game Minecraft, the chosen world must allow cheating.
- If you do not have a world that allows cheating, click Create New World, type in the world name, click More World Options ..., click Allow Cheats: OFF, then click Create New World.
Open Console. Press / to do this. The Console text box will open at the bottom of the window.
Type the command "locate". Type locate Village then press the key ↵ Enter.- The capital "V" in "Village" is very important, because if you type "v" normally, the command will fail.
Check the result. You should see white text saying "Located Village at (y?)" Near the bottom of the Minecraft window.
- Example: You can see the line "Located Village at 123 (y) 456" here.
- The y coordinate (altitude) is often unknown, meaning you have to use a gradual test method until you can guess it.
Type the command "teleport". Reopen Console and type teleport , replacing the portion in brackets with the player name and village coordinates. You have to guess the y coordinate.
- For the player named "Waffles", according to the step above, you will type teleport Waffles 123 456. Names are case sensitive.
- Try typing a number between 70 and 80 for the y coordinates.
Press ↵ Enter. This step helps to execute your teleport command. As long as the y-coordinate is not too high to cause the character to die or get stuck in the wall, you will appear inside, above or below the village.
- If you appear underground, you need to dig upwards to see the village.
- If you are stuck on a wall in Survival Mode, you will quickly suffocate. To prevent this from happening, you can try to find a way out.
Method 2 of 4: On mobile
Open Minecraft. Tap the Minecraft game icon that looks like the land block with grass above.
Touch Play. This button is located near the top of the main Minecraft page.
Choose the world. Touch the world you want to load. Unlike Minecraft on the computer, you are allowed to turn on the cheat game mode right in the game, which means you can choose any world.
Tap "Pause". This key is two vertical lines at the top of the screen. You will open the Pause menu.
- If you have turned on cheat mode for your world, you can always follow the "Tap 'Chat' step.
Touch Settings. This option is in the Pause menu.
Scroll down to the "World Options" section. This is near the bottom of the menu on the right side of the screen.
Tap the dark gray "Activate Cheats" switch. This switch will turn light gray, indicating that cheating is enabled.

Type the command "teleport". Open the "Chat" box again, type / tp , replacing the portion in brackets with the player name and village coordinates. You need to guess the y coordinates.
- For the player named "hippo" in the example above you need to type / tp hippo -65 342. Names are case sensitive.
- Usually, you will have to guess the y coordinate - the coordinates that help determine the height of the village.
Touch →. This button is on the right side of the text box. You will be instantly teleported to the coordinates entered. As long as the y-coordinate is not too high, the character will fall dead or get stuck in the wall, you will appear inside, above or below the village.
- If you appear underground, you need to dig up to see the village.

Method 3 of 4: On handheld game consoles
Understand how. Since it is not possible to type a command to find the village and teleport there in the handheld console version of Minecraft, you need to search for a Seed Code for a world and type it into the live village finder. route to find out the location of the village. Open Minecraft. Select the Minecraft icon to open this game. If you purchased Minecraft in disc format, you will need to insert a disc before making a selection.

Open the ChunkBase village search program on the computer. Go to http://chunkbase.com/apps/village-finder in your computer's browser.
Type the world's Seed number. In the "Seed" text field near the center of the page, type the number that appears at the top of the world menu in Minecraft.
Click Find Villages!. This green button is on the right side of the page. You will see yellow dots on the map representing villages.
Scroll down and select your handheld console. Click PC (1.10 and up) in the lower right of the page, then click XOne / PS4 or X360 / PS3 in the menu that appears. This is a step to customize the map to show villages specific to the handheld console version.
Minimize the screen if needed. If there are no yellow dots on the map, click and drag the slider at the bottom to the left.
Search for the location of the village. Select one of the yellow dots on the map, then look at the coordinates that appear in the lower left corner of the map. Record these coordinates so you know where you will have to search for the village later.
Create a map and use it. In the handheld console version of Minecraft you can see the current coordinates if there is a map.
Go to the village. After you equip the map, you will walk to the village. When the x and z coordinates intersect, you will stand near the village.
- The ChunkBase Village Finder program is not 100 percent accurate, so you may find yourself standing near (instead of inside) the village. You have to search around to see the village if you haven't already.
- Ignore the y-coordinate, because you know for sure whether to go up or down when you reach the intersection of the village's x-and-z coordinates.
Method 4 of 4: Groping for a village search
Understand that it takes hours to find the village. Even in small worlds, finding a village in tens of thousands of square blocks is quite similar to finding a needle in a tank bottom.
Know where to look. Villages often appear in deserts, Xa Van, Taiga forest (including cold Taiga areas), and plains (possibly ice). If you are in the rainforest, mushroom zone, Tundra, or places where there are no other villages, don't waste time looking.
Know what to look for. The village is often made of wood plank and cobblestone, often looking different from the surrounding areas.
Prepare for the long journey. It can take hours to find the village, so bring all the basic tools, bed, food and weapons in before you depart. The best way is to travel during the day and camp at night, so consider digging yourself for a shelter and sealing most of your access to keep away from the monsters.
- You need to leave at least one open to avoid choking.
Taming your mount for convenience. If you have a saddle, you can wear it on a mount to speed exploration. Look for a horse and interact with it repeatedly with bare hands until it no longer kicks you down, then approach the tamed horse and select it with saddle so you can ride and controlled at will.
Find an easy-to-see spot. Climb the highest hill you can find in the village. This way, you will see the surrounding areas and make it easier to recognize the man-made structures.
Searching for the torch at night. You can see a fire better at night than during the day. Although the fire of the night looks like lava, it is more likely that it originated from torches - and often having torches means there is a village.
- Use extreme caution when doing this if you are playing survival mode and the difficulty setting is not "peaceful". It is best not to search for torches until the next day in case of the monsters.
