Instagram is a social networking application specializing in photo sharing was released in 2010 and currently has 25 languages. Method 1 of 3: Instagram Settings

   Choose friends to follow. After completing account creation, you have the option to find friends from your contacts, Facebook account, Twitter account or by searching manually. Note, you need to provide Facebook or Twitter account information for Instagram (including email addresses and passwords) in order to be able to choose friends from these platforms.
   • You can choose to follow Instagram-suggested users by tapping the “Follow” button next to their name.
   • Following other people allows you to view their posts on your "Home" page.
   • You can still connect with friends at any time, even after creating an account.

Method 2 of 3: Use tags on Instagram

1. 

   See Home tab. This is the default tag that shows when you start, also known as news pages, that shows all the new posts of the people you follow. Here, you can do the following:
   • Tap the + icon in the upper left corner of the screen to create and share Stories with your followers. You need to give Instagram permission to access your microphone and camera for this operation.
   • Tap the triangle icon in the upper-right corner of the screen to view the Inbox. Your entire message will be displayed here.

   View the "Search" page by tapping the magnifying glass icon. This is the icon to the right of the Home tab displayed below the screen. Here, you can search for accounts and keywords by entering the information in the search bar at the top of the screen.

   View your profile page by tapping on the account icon. This is a humanoid icon in the lower right corner of the screen. Here, you can do the following:
   • Tap the + icon in the top left corner of the screen to add friends from Facebook and your contacts.
   • Tap the three horizontal bars icon (☰) in the top right corner and select the gear icon or ⋮ at the bottom of the screen to see Instagram's options. You can customize your account settings and add friends or social media accounts here.
   • Tap Edit Profile to the right of your profile picture to change your display name or username, add your profile and / or website, change personal information (such as phone number and email address).

Method 3 of 3: Add photos to Instagram

   Click the button + to post pictures. This is the button displayed in the middle of the lower part of the page. Here, you can add an existing photo from the camera roll or take a new photo.

   Choose a filter for the photo. You will do this with the options at the bottom of the screen. Currently, on average, each Instagram account has 11 filters available. Filters contribute to changes in the color and composition of an image - for example, using the "Moon" filter makes your photo look like a faded black-and-white photo.

   Add captions to photos. You will enter your text in the "Write a caption" box at the top of the screen.

   See more options for photos. Before sharing your photo, you can do the following:
   • Tap Tag People to tag the follower on the photo.
   • Tap Add Location to add the current location to the photo's description. You need to allow Instagram to access your device's location for this.
   • Post photos to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or Flickr by pushing the slider beside each account to the "On" position. You need to link your Instagram account to the above social media accounts to be able to share content.

Advice

• If you want more followers, take a lot of unique photos and ask other users to recommend your Instagram. You can even design your post so that your account stands out.
• You can view Instagram on your computer, but you can't update your account or post pictures. You can only do these on the app.

Warning

• Avoid sharing photos that contain personal information, especially if you haven't set up private for your account. Information to avoid sharing is your home address or contact information (such as a new driver's license photo). If you want to post photos of identification, cover the address, identification number, insurance card number and any other personal information.
