WhatsApp allows us to send messages to multiple contacts using the "Broadcast List" and "Group" feature. Before sending mass messages, you need to add recipients to the Broadcast list or group chat (group chat) on iPhone / Android.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Use Broadcast List on iOS
Tap on the WhatsApp app. Broadcast List allows you to send messages in bulk with each conversation displaying its own line.
- The recipient will not know that the message is also sent to others.
- Only contacts that have your number saved in phonebook receive your broadcast messages.
Click Chats. An icon for two dialogue bubbles is at the bottom of the screen.
Click Broadcast Lists in the top left of the screen.
Click New List (New listing).
Tap each contact to add them to the list.
Click Create (Create). The Broadcast List will be created and opened to the message screen.
Texting.
Click on the send icon. Your message will be sent to the selected people.
- If someone blocks you, the broadcast message won't reach them.
Method 2 of 4: Use Broadcast List on Android

Click the menu button with 3 dots in the upper right corner of the screen.
Click New broadcast.

Method 3 of 4: Using Group Chat on iOS
Tap on the WhatsApp app. The group chat feature allows you to send messages to multiple people, and everyone in the group will see messages from all members.
Click Chats. An icon of two dialogue bubbles is at the bottom of the screen.
Click New Group (New group).
Tap each contact to add them to the group.
- You can add up to 256 members to a group.
Click next (Next) in the upper right corner of the screen.
Enter a subject name in the "Group Subject field".’
Click Create.

- Messages from blocked users will still show up in the chat group.
Method 4 of 4: Using Group Chat on Android
Tap on the WhatsApp app. The group chat feature allows you to send messages to multiple people, and everyone in the group will see messages from all members.

Click New group.
Tap each contact to add them to the group.
- You can add up to 256 members to a group.
Click the green arrow button.
Enter a subject name in the "Group Subject field".’
Click the green check mark.

- Messages from blocked users will still show up in the chat group.
Advice
- You can add up to 256 people to a chat group.
- Members can remove them from a chat group by themselves at any time, meanwhile, recipients on the Broadcast List must remove you from your address book in order to stop receiving messages from you.
