It was fun to get an Apple gift card. Apple Store gift cards are used to buy laptops (laptops), desktops, ipad, other Apple hardware and components. Apple Music Membership and iTunes gift cards are used to purchase membership packages as well as music, movies and other products on the iTunes, App and iBooks stores. You can check your balance with a smartphone, laptop or visit an Apple retail store.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Check your Apple Store gift card balance

1. 

   Check online. If you live in the US, you can check your balance online. Go to the Apple website and sign in to your account. Click on “check the balance of a gift card” (check the balance of the gift card). Next, enter the pin code on the back of the gift card and your account balance will appear.
   • If you are in Canada, you are required to check your balance by calling or visiting the store. There is no way to check balance online.

   Dial 1-888-320-3301. After connecting to the automatic answering system, you can say: “check my Apple store gift card balance”. The system will redirect to the gift card department. Select your preferred language then press 1 to hear the gift card balance. The system will ask you to enter the pin code on the back of the card and end with a pound sign. You will hear the balance of the card.

   Go to the Apple store. If your city has an Apple store, just bring your gift card there and have the service look up the balance on the card. advertisement

Method 2 of 2: Determine balance iTunes or Apple Music

1. 

   Find the card loading code. Look behind the gift card for a scratch label. Please scratch this label to see the code below. You will see a 16-digit code.

   Redeem gift card codes on personal computers. Open the iTunes app and click the store button. On the right side of the store screen, click the redeem button. Then, sign in to your Apple ID.

   Enter the 16-digit code. After entering the code, you will see a new iTunes balance. The iTunes balance will include the gift card balance you just entered the code in.
   • By “redeeming” an iTunes gift card, you just add the balance to your account. You don't actually use the money, you just add it to the account to see the balance.
   • If you already have a balance in your account, you'll need to subtract the previous balance from the balance displayed after redeeming the gift card. The difference between the old and new balance is the amount in the gift card.
   • If you want to check your balance after shopping, you can follow the same steps.

   Redeem gift cards on the phone. Tap the iTunes music app on the smartphone. Next, click on the iTunes store and sign in. Click “music” at the bottom of the screen, select “redeem”. Finally, enter the gift card code to show the balance.
   • In some countries, you can use your smartphone's camera to redeem gift cards. After clicking on the redeem option, click on “use Camera”. After that, take a photo of the 16-digit code and the phone will automatically change the code.

   Determine balance on Mac App Store. On your personal computer, click the Apple logo in the upper left corner of the screen. Scroll down to the “App Store” section. On the App Store, you click the featured tab. The “redeem” option will appear on the right side of the window. Finally, enter the gift card number to see your account balance.

   Use the wallet application on your smartphone. Open the wallet app and tap on the plus sign. Select an app option and scroll down to redeem the code. You will see an option for iTunes pass. Click to get started and add an iTunes pass to your wallet. Once you've added your iTunes gift card to your wallet, simply open the iTunes pass and see your balance in the upper right corner. advertisement
