This wikiHow teaches you how to remove a Premium membership from your LinkedIn account. While it's not possible to cancel a premium account on the LinkedIn mobile app, you can do so on the iTunes Store if you've signed up for a subscription through Apple.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Cancel your Premium membership plan

  1. Open the website LinkedIn. The LinkedIn home page will open if you are logged in.
    • If you're not logged in, enter your username and password and click Sign In (Log in).

  2. Click the card Me (I). This tab is to the right of the group of options at the top of the screen. Your profile picture is also located here.
    • If you don't have a profile picture on LinkedIn, tag Me will display the human silhouette.

  3. Click Settings & Privacy (Personal settings). This option is in the drop-down menu below the card Me.
  4. Click the card Account (Account). This tab is to the left of the row of options at the top of the page.

  5. Click Subscriptions (Registration). This option is on the left side of the page, below the tab Basics (Basic) and Third parties (Third-party).
  6. Click Manage Premium Account (Manage senior accounts). This option is near the bottom of the page.
  7. Click Cancel subscription (Cancel registration). This link is under the "Account Type" heading on the right side of the page.
    • If you purchased a Premium plan through Apple, the message "Your subscription was purchased via the iTunes store.   6. Click Subscriptions near the bottom of the screen.
  7. Click on the LinkedIn Premium plan. Depending on how many Apple subscriptions you have, the Subscriptions tab will immediately open the LinkedIn package or not.
  8. Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the page.
  9. Click Confirm (Confirm) when an option appears. The Premium account will be removed from your Apple subscriptions, and you won't be billed after the end of the current billing cycle.
    • You can still use LinkedIn Premium until the end of your current billing cycle.
