This article guides you on how to choose an email service that is right for you and create a personal account. Once you have an email account, you can send messages to other people's email addresses.

Steps

Method 1 of 4: Create an account

1.

2. Enter the recipient's email address in the "To" field.
3. Enter a subject in the "Subject" field.
4. Enter the text of the email in the "Compose email" field.
5. Add photos or files if you want by touching the paperclip icon and selecting an attachment.

Method 3 of 4: Send email with Outlook

4. Import the email text into the large data frame.
5. Tap the paperclip icon and choose whether to attach a photo or file.

Method 4 of 4: Send email with Yahoo

   Open Yahoo. Go to https://mail.yahoo.com using your computer's web browser. This will bring up your Yahoo mailbox if you're logged into Yahoo.
   • If you aren't logged into Yahoo, enter your email address and password when prompted to continue.

   Click Compose (Compose) in the top-left corner of the page to open the writing window.

   Enter the email address of the recipient. Click the "To" field at the top of the window, then type in the email address to which you want to send the email.

   Enter a title. Click in the "Subject" field, then type in the text you want to use as your subject.
   • The subject is often used to give the recipient a glimpse of the content of the email.

   Write email. Click in the text box below the "Subject" field, then type in the email text.
   • You can highlight part of the body of an email and then click on an editing option (such as B to make bold text) at the bottom of the window.
   • If you want to add a photo or file to your email, click the paperclip icon at the bottom of the window and then click an option.

   Click the button Send (Send) in blue in the lower left corner of the pop-up window just sends an email to the address entered earlier.

   Send email from the Yahoo Mail app. If you downloaded the Yahoo Mail app on your iPhone or Android, you can send mail using the:
   • Open the Yahoo Mail app.
   • Tap the pencil icon in the lower right corner of the screen.
   • Enter your email address in the "To" field.
   • Enter a subject in the "Subject" field.
   • Enter the email text in the main text box.
   • Add a photo or file by tapping one of the icons below the email section.
   • Choose Send to send email.

Advice

• Save a draft of an email while composing if it's important. Gmail usually saves drafts automatically for you, but other email providers may not.
• Create two email addresses - one for work and one for socializing - so you can focus on checking your email.

• Don't say anything that you don't want to make public when you send an email. Remember that email stands for yourself and your brand.
