Updating the Instagram app will help you get a fix version with the latest features. You can do this by opening your device's app store, accessing the apps list in the menu (for Android), or going to the update page, clicking the “Update” button on the side. next to Instagram (for iOS). Steps

Method 1 of 3: On Android

   Open the Play Store app.

   Select “My apps & games”. You will be taken to the list of apps installed on the device.

   Click on "Instagram". The Instagram store page will appear.
   • Applications are listed in alphabetical order.

Method 2 of 3: On iOS

   Open the App Store app.

   Click on “Updates”. This button in the lower right corner of the screen will display a red message if an update is available.

   Click the "Update" button next to the Instagram icon. Instagram updates will be downloaded and installed automatically.
   • The Instagram homepage will show a download wheel representing the update process.
   • If Instagram is not on this page, there may not be an update available for the app. You can swipe down on the Updates page to refresh and check for new updates.

Method 3 of 3: Refresh feed

1. 

   Open Instagram.

2. 

   Click on the icon "Home". This button in the lower left corner will take you to the instagram feed.

3. 

   Swipe down on the screen. A refresh icon will appear and start rotating. After a few seconds, the reload will complete and new photos from people you follow will appear. advertisement

Advice

• Turn on Auto-Update on Android by opening the Play Store, opening “Settings” from the menu, then selecting a setting from the “Auto-update apps” section. .
• Turn on Auto-Update on iOS by opening the Settings app, selecting “iTunes & App Store” and turning on the “Updates” button (below the “Automatic Downloads” heading).

• Updating apps without WiFi will take a lot of data.
