• If you don't see any error message, you can skip it and go to "Make sure Install client is checked".

Click System Preferences (Customize system). This button is near the top of the drop-down menu.

Click the padlock icon. This button is in the lower left corner of the window.

• You may need to enter your admin password before proceeding.

Click Open Anyway (Open at all costs). This button is next to the Forge filename, which is usually something like "forge-1.12-14.21.1.2387-installer.jar".

• If part Security & Privacy Don't show this option, you need to click on the tab General (General) at the top of the page.

Click Open when prompted. This will open the Minecraft Forge installation window.

Make sure that the "Install client" box is checked. If not, you must click on the box or circle next to "Install client" before proceeding to the next step.

• If prompted to install Java, you'll need to click on it first More Info ... on the window that appears, click Download Under Java, click the Java.dmg file, double-click the Java.pkg folder, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Click OK. Launch the installer downloaded with Java and make sure "Install client" is selected.

Advice

• If you want to use Forge in the game Minecraft, you need to make a choice Forge from the Profile section of the Minecraft launch page.
• Many mods have the addition of incompatible spaces with other edits. You can correct this problem by changing the "dimension id".

Warning

• Since many mods are problematic, it may cause instability or sudden exit. If this happens, simply remove that edit from the Mods folder and launch Minecraft game again.
