Steps

   Select the row above or below where you want to add the line. Select rows by clicking on numbers in the left gray column.

   Hold down the key ⇧ Shift and select the number of rows you want to insert. For example, if you want to insert 4 new rows, you select 4 rows above or below the position to insert.
