1 Follow the footsteps of the old lettering, apply a fresh lettering with a whiteboard marker. Pen and permanent marker marks can leave stubborn stains on the whiteboard. Even special dry erase markers can stain if left on the board for too long. To get rid of such stains, you need to completely paint over the inscription with a special marker for whiteboards.

2 Let the lettering dry and wipe it off. It only takes a few seconds for the lettering to dry. Then wipe it off with a dry whiteboard sponge.

The principle of this method is that the fresh ink of the dry erase marker will loosen the adhesion of old stains to the surface of the board, so that when you erase it, you can also erase old stains.

3 Repeat the procedure if necessary. For particularly stubborn and stubborn stains, you may need to repeat the process. Paint over the spots again with a marker, let it dry and wipe off with a dry sponge.

4 Clean the board with a cleaning solution and wipe off. Once stubborn stains have been removed from the board, any residual marks can be removed with a cleaning agent. Dampen a cloth with liquid detergent and wipe the board thoroughly with it. Wipe off any remaining cleaning agent from the board and let dry. 1 Wipe the board with a dry sponge every 1-2 days. Take a regular whiteboard sponge for this, which perfectly removes most of the fresh writing on the board from no more than two days ago.
2 Clean the board periodically with a cleaning solution. Dampen a clean cloth with your favorite liquid cleaner. If this product contains strong chemicals, be sure to provide yourself with good ventilation. Use a cloth to clean the surface of the board with a cleaning agent and scrub thoroughly.
3 After cleaning the board, be sure to wipe off the cleaner and wipe dry. Once you've completely removed the marker stains from the board, rinse with a rag or sponge with clean water and wring out. Wipe the whiteboard with a damp cloth. This will get rid of any remaining cleaning agent.Then take a dry, clean cloth and wipe the board dry.

To avoid stubborn stains on the board, always use only special whiteboard markers. Also, do not leave writing on the board for more than a few days.

Warnings

Some people recommend cleaning whiteboards with toothpaste, ground coffee, or baking soda, but these are all abrasives and can scratch the surface of the whiteboard.
