Android devices allow you to share photo, audio and video files over Bluetooth. While you can't share over Bluetooth with installed apps, you can share your Play Store's download links through Bluetooth and Android Beam. Alternatively, you can also share via Bluetooth the APK file used to install apps on Android.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Share Google Play Store paths over Bluetooth

1.

   Touch Accept (Accepted) on the phone or tablet receiving data. The phone or tablet receiving data receives a notification that the other phone or tablet is sending the file. Please touch Accept in the message to receive the file.

   Install the APK installation application on the phone or tablet receiving data. You need an app that supports installing APK files on your Android phone or tablet. You can find many apps that install APKs on the Google Play Store. Some apps that install APKs are APK Installer, APK Extractor, Easy Installer, APK Installer. Follow these steps to install an APK installer app on the phone or tablet receiving data:
   • Open Google Play Store.
   • Enter "APK Installer" or the name of the application you want to install in the search bar.
   • Touch and the name of the application in the search results.
   • Touch Install (Setting).

   Open the My Files app on the phone or tablet receiving data. The My Files app is used to access files and folders on Android phones. This is an app with a folder icon.You can find this app in the Apps menu.
   • On some Samsung Galaxy devices, the My Files app is found in the Samsung folder in the Apps menu.

    Tap on folder Downloads (Download) or Installation Files (Setup file). Both of these folders will show up in the "Categories" section. The Downloads folder contains all the files that you have downloaded to your phone or tablet. The Installation Files folder contains the APK file.

    Touch Install. This is the second option in the currently displayed notification. As such, the installation will begin immediately.
    • To install apps from an APK file, you must allow your device to open apps from unknown sources in the Settings menu.

    Tap on the APK installer app you want to use and select Always (Always).
