Method 1 of 3: Using Developer Options

1. Open the Settings of your Android. That is it Scroll down and press About at the bottom of the menu.

Method 2 of 3: Using battery optimization

1. Open the Settings of your Android. That is it Scroll down and press Battery under the heading "Device".

3. Press Battery optimization. If any apps are listed, they may start automatically and waste your battery.

Method 3 of 3: Using Startup Manager (rooted devices)

1. Search startup manager free in the Play Store. This is a free app that makes it possible to adjust which apps are started when you start your Android.
2. Press Startup Manager (Free). This is a black icon with a blue clock inside.
3. Press to install. The app will now be installed on your phone or tablet.
4. Open Startup Manager and press Permit. This grants the app root access. You should now see a list of all the apps that are set to start automatically.
5. Press the blue button next to the app you wish to disable. The button will turn gray, which means that the app will no longer start automatically.
