  • After eating, wait 10 minutes before brushing.
  • Wait at least 45 minutes before brushing after drinking lemonade, wine, or acidic juices such as orange juice. Lemonade and juice leave acids on the teeth, and brushing can even damage the enamel.

  • Do not swallow toothpaste or mouthwash. They contain chemicals that are toxic if you swallow them, such as ammonia and cetylpyridinium chloride
  • Don't skip brushing - it can cause dental erosion.
