Twister is a fun party game and an easy way to let off steam. If you don't feel like playing regular Twister, you can add some "twists" to the old classic to make the game more fun and mature. If everyone wants to join in, strip twister is a great way to bond with your partner and enjoy some good old-fashioned physical fun.

To step

Method 1 of 3: Review the twister rules

  1. Create teams. To play Twister you need at least two people (an equal number of men and women usually works best). Divide your players into teams of two, preferably with a man and a woman on each team.
    • If you play the game with couples, then each couple can play as a team.
    • If there are not an even number of players, ask one person to serve as the referee and official turner. With an even number of players, everyone must take turns refereeing.
    • The players can also play individually if you prefer not to have teams.
  2. Prepare for the game. Lay the mat stretched out on the floor; when playing outside, make sure to secure every corner of the mat so it doesn't blow away. Players must start on opposite sides of the mat, with each person standing next to the word "twister". Each player must start with one foot on the yellow circle and the other foot on the blue circle closest to their side.
    • If you're playing with three people, set up the players as you would for a two-player game, and have the third player face the red circle side, with one foot on each of the two middle red circles.
    • When playing with teams, one member of each team plays in each round and eventually the winners of each round will compete against each other in a final match.
  3. Play the game. Each time the referee spins the spinner, he or she calls out the body part and color that the spinner is pointing at. Each player must place that body part on the corresponding circle. The players may only use empty circles.
    • If a player currently has a body part of a color and that color is called again, then the player must move to a new circle of the same color.
    • When two players reach for the same circle at the same time, the referee must decide who arrived first.
    • In the event that all six circles of the same color are already occupied, the referee must turn again until a new color is indicated on the spinner.
  4. Win the game. Any player who falls or touches the mat with an elbow or knee is immediately removed from play. Players can choose to eliminate themselves if they can no longer maintain a certain attitude.
    • The player who remains at the end of the game wins.
    • If you play with teams, don't forget to let the winners of each game play against each other at the end.

Method 2 of 3: Add the strip elements

  1. Determine the dress rules. All players should start a game of strip twister with the same number of items of clothing. Five or six is a good number.
    • Hats, socks, shoes and jewelry count as items of clothing.
    • It is recommended that everyone apply deodorant and play in a well-ventilated area for the game to be enjoyable.
  2. Check out the rules. In strip twister, all players have to take off a piece of clothing every time the turner lands on red. Only one hand or foot should come off the mat at a time, even if the player takes off clothing.
    • When removing clothing, the hand or foot must be returned to the place where it used to be before any other hand or foot may be lifted.
    • If a player falls while taking off an item of clothing, he must take off an additional item of clothing as a penalty.
  3. Apply sanctions. Since this is Twister with a "twist", there are certain penalties in this game that do not exist in the standard game. If a player falls into regular Twister, he is automatically removed from the game. In strip twister, the players take off a piece of clothing instead. Whoever wears the most clothes at the end wins the game.
    • Anyone caught wearing more than the assigned number of items of clothing should immediately take off the extra items.
    • Anyone caught cheating in any form will be punished by having to take off an extra piece of clothing.
  4. Adapt the game to your needs. If you want to play strip twister with a larger group, you could add some extra restrictions to make the game more competitive and family-friendly.
    • Players can choose to undress only until they are in their underwear or bathing suits.
    • For example, if the turner lands on yellow, it could also mean that you automatically have to take off a piece of clothing.

Method 3 of 3: Make the strip twist game more exciting

  1. Start naked. Naked twister is best played alone with your partner. Instead of gradually taking off your clothes during the game, start naked and increase the stakes by distracting each other with physical caresses.
    • Try licking, hugging, kissing, or tickling your opponent to make him or her give up place on the board.
    • Make the game more romantic by turning off the lights and lighting some candles. Be careful not to knock the candles over in the heat of battle.
  2. Make it a drinking game. In drinktwister, the game remains the same, but each player has to drink a drink every time he or she slides on the mat (but doesn't fall). The game continues until everyone has fallen, or has drunk so much that they cannot continue.
    • Use small shot glasses for drinks or it could turn into a dangerous game.
    • You can choose to increase the number of drinks a player has to drink for each time he or she slips. For example, after the first time, they can have one drink, after the second, two drinks, and so on.
  3. Play oil twister. Take it a step further in Naked Twister by rubbing your opponent with baby oil before starting the game. Play naked twister as you normally would, but expect to spend most of the time slipping and sliding across the mat.
    • To stay in line with the theme, the oil twister loser must give the winner a full body massage.
    • Have a first aid kit handy - oil twister has a much higher injury rate than naked twister.

Tips

  • When playing strip twister, make sure everyone is comfortable. Establish rules that feel right for everyone and respect everyone who plays.
  • If there are children in another room, make sure they can't just walk in (unless it's an emergency). You can lock the doors and / or give them a stern warning. However, don't tell them what you're actually doing.
