This wikiHow teaches you how to download a voice message from Facebook to your computer using an Internet browser. With the desktop version of Facebook, you cannot download voice messages, but you can open the mobile website on a desktop computer and download voice messages as audio clips.

To step

1. Open the Facebook mobile website in a desktop internet browser. Type m.facebook.com in the address bar of your browser and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard.
   • To download voice messages on your PC, you need to open the mobile website.
   • There is no way available to download a voice message in a browser on your mobile or in the mobile app.
2. Click the Messenger icon at the top. This icon resembles a speech bubble with a lightning bolt in it. You will find it on a blue bar at the top of your screen.
3. Find and open the voice message you want to download. If you don't see the message thread here, click View older messages at the bottom of the list.
4. Right click on it click on Download audio as in the click menu. This option downloads the voice message to your computer as an audio clip.
5. click on Save in the download window. This will download the voice message and save it to your computer. You can now listen to it on your computer.
   • Optionally, you can change the name of the audio file or the save location before saving it.
