Incognito mode, or private browsing, is a feature that allows the user to surf the web without browsing behavior such as downloads, history and cookies being tracked by the browser. Private Browsing can be turned off at any time.

To step

Method 1 of 4: Turn off Incognito mode in Google Chrome

  1. Go to the incognito window in your current Chrome session. Any window in incognito mode will show a spy image in the top right corner of the browser window.
  2. Click the "x" in the corner of the Incognito window to end your browser session. Incognito mode is now turned off, and the next session of Chrome you open will be a standard session.
