Kahlua is a delicious liqueur that makes everything a little bit sweeter. You can try this drink in all kinds of classic cocktails, including a White Russian, Black Russian or a Mudslide. Kahlua is also an indispensable ingredient in many popular shots, making it a popular drink at parties. Adding kahlua to a drink can add an extra dimension, especially if you add some whipped cream and chocolate to the whole as well!

Method 1 of 3: Mix cocktails with Kahlua

1. Serve Kahlua with ice. Fill a glass with ice cubes. Fill the glass halfway with Kahlua. Use a stir stick or spoon to gently stir the ice cream to cool the Kahlua. Add a slice of orange zest to the glass to brighten up the drink.
2. Prepare a Black Russian. To make this classic cocktail, you need to fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes. Pour 6 cl of vodka and 3 cl of Kahlua over the ice. Stir gently to mix everything together and enjoy!
3. Prepare a White Russian. To prepare this delicious drink, fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes. Pour 3 cl of Kahlua, 3 cl of vodka and 3 cl of cream over the ice. Stir a little to mix everything.
   • For a lighter version of this drink, you can also choose an equal amount of milk instead of cream.
4. Treat yourself to a Mudslide. Use a shaker full of ice to prepare this cocktail that tastes like dessert. Pour 4.5 cl of Kahlua, 4.5 cl of vodka and 4.5 cl of Baileys on the ice. Shake all ingredients together and then pour the drink into a tumbler glass with ice.
5. Prepare a Mind Eraser. To make something that is both strong and refreshing, fill a tumbler glass with ice. Pour 3 cl of Kahlua, 6 cl of vodka and 6 cl of soda water on the ice. For a nice look you can not mix the drink, so that the three layers remain on top of each other.
6. Shake a coffee martini. To prepare a special drink, you can fill a shaker with ice. Pour 6 cl of vodka, 3 cl of Kahlua and 3 cl of chocolate liqueur on the ice. Shake everything vigorously and pour the drink into a martini glass. You can garnish the martini glass with some coffee beans or chocolate chips, if you prefer.

Method 2 of 3: Making shots with Kahlua

1. Take a B-52 shot. B-52 shots are very popular at parties because they look nice. When prepared correctly, the three layers of alcohol are clearly visible on top of each other. In a standard shot glass, pour about 1 cl of Kahlua, followed by 1 cl of cream-based liqueur (eg Baileys) and then 1 cl of orange-based liqueur (eg Grand Marnier).
2. Make a Blow Job shot. Despite its coarse name, a shot of Blow Job is extremely popular. Pour 1.5 cl Irish cream and 1.5 cl Kahlua into a shot glass. Finish with a layer of whipped cream.
3. Try a shot of After Eight. For a very sweet shot, you can pour 1 cl of Kahlua into a shot glass. Slowly add 1 cl of Peppermint Schnapps and then 1 cl of Irish cream. The three layers should be on top of each other, which makes for a nice effect.
4. Dare to drink a shot of Brave Bull. For a simple shot that is quite strong, you can mix Kahlua with tequila. Pour 1.5 cl of Kahlua and 1.5 cl of tequila into a shot glass. For some variation you can also add a little cream.

Method 3 of 3: Add Kahlua to other drinks

1. Give your hot chocolate an extra dimension with some Kahlua. To spice up your hot chocolate, pour 4.5 cl of Kahlua into a mug of hot chocolate. If you wish, add a dash of whipped cream to finish.
2. Add Kahlua to coffee without caffeine. Add 3 cl of Kahlua and 3 cl of milk or cream to a coffee mug. Pour in coffee without caffeine and stir. Add sugar or sweetener to taste.
   • Do not consume alcohol with caffeine. If you mix the two, you will usually feel less drunk than you really are. This will increase your risk of alcohol poisoning and accidents due to too much alcohol in your blood.
3. Add Kahlua to a milkshake. For a real treat, you can make a milkshake and add some Kahlua to it. Scoop 3 scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream into a blender and add 12 cl of milk or cream. Add 8 cl of Kahlua and blend everything together. Pour the milkshake into a glass and finish with whipped cream or chocolate syrup, if desired.
