Pinterest saves your searches to provide tailored results, just like most apps with a search function. While this is a useful feature, it can slow down your device (or browser) over time; Fortunately, you can quickly solve this by clearing your search history via your account settings!

To step

Method 1 of 2: Using the Pinterest app

1. Open the "Pinterest" app. Log in with your e-mail address and password (or Facebook account) if you are not logged in yet.
2. Click on your profile icon. This is an icon that resembles a human figure and is located in the lower left corner of the screen.
3. Click on the gear settings. This is located in the top right corner of your screen.
4. Click Customize Settings..
5. Click Clear browsing history. Your search history has now been officially cleared !!
   • You can also click Clean Cache to clear your search recommendations.

Method 2 of 2: Using the Pinterest site (Desktop)

1. Open the Pinterest website. Use your email address and password (or Facebook account) to log in if you are not logged in yet.
2. Click on your profile icon. This is a human figure icon in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Click on the gear settings. You can find this above your profile name at the top of the page.
4. Click Delete Recent Searches..
5. Click Save Settings. Your search history is now empty!

Tips

• You can also choose to keep your browser history private from search engines (such as Google or Bing); you can adjust this in Pinterest's settings.

Warnings

• Clearing Pinterest's search history will not delete your browser history.
