1. Open your browser. Open your preferred browser.
2. Go to the menu where you can clear the history. That looks different for every browser and has a different name, but the essence is the same.
   • At chrome, click on the 3 horizontal lines to the right of the address bar, then click on Settings, then History, and then Clear browsing data.
   • For the latest version of Firefox, click the 3 horizontal lines (at the same height as the address bar), then click History and then click Clear Recent History.
   • For Internet Explorer, click on the "Control Panel" and then on Internet Options. You will then see a section for Browsing History in the General tab, below which you must click Delete.
3. Delete the search history from your browser. Go to the menu to clear your search history from data, cookies and cache. This usually means that you have to uncheck the boxes and make sure the "search history" box is checked. You just have to follow the prompts, as always when you need to set things up on your computer.
4. Log in to Google. Now you need to start clearing your Google search history. Start by logging into your account.

6. Clear your search history. You can clear individual searches by selecting and clearing items from the list, or you can delete the entire search history at once. To delete the entire history at once, click the Settings icon, then Settings. Read the text and find the blue line that says "Delete all", and follow the directions.
