Via Facebook you can now watch live broadcasts on your PC, smartphone or tablet. With Facebook Live, all Facebook users can broadcast live programs to their friends and followers using their computer, smartphone or tablet. You can find these broadcasts when they air in your news feed. And if you want, you can get notified when your best friends or favorite users start a live broadcast. This article explains how to find and watch these live broadcasts via Facebook.

Method 1 of 2: Using the mobile version of Facebook

1. Open Facebook. You can recognize the Facebook app by the blue icon with a white letter "f" on it. To open Facebook, tap the icon on your home screen or in the app menu of your device.
   • If you're not already signed in, enter the email address or phone number you use for Facebook, followed by your password and tap login.
2. Tap the icon that looks like a television screen. On a smartphone or tablet with Android, it is at the top of the screen. On an iPhone or iPad, it is at the bottom of the screen. This is the Watch tab. You will then see a list of videos of users and pages you follow. The tab also shows you a list of videos from other accounts that Facebook recommends to you.
   • If you don't see the Watch tab at the top of the Facebook app, tap the three horizontal dash (☰) in the top left corner to open the menu. Then tap Live videos.
3. Tap the magnifying glass (only if you have an iPhone). On an iPhone, tap the magnifying glass in the top right corner to display the search bar at the top of the screen.
4. Enter a username, video title, or category in the search bar. The search bar is at the top of the screen. This way you can search for videos that interest you.
   • You can also scroll down until you see a menu in your feed that says "Watch Live Broadcasts". Tap the red button that says Live for a general list of suggestions for live videos from users and pages you follow.
   • You can click the tab on an iPad and other tablets Live at the top of the screen. You will then be presented with a list of suggestions for Live videos from users and pages you follow, as well as suggestions for other videos.
5. Tap on Live. This button is at the top of the page next to "Filters." This filters the search results so that only videos that are currently Live, instead of previously recorded videos.
6. Tap a video. On live videos, you will see a red icon in the top left corner with the word "Live" on it. Tap the image or title below the video to watch the video.
   • The video's live chat is right below the video.
7. To stop viewing, tap the cross X or on the arrow pointing to the left. When you're done watching the video if you have an iPhone or a Pad, tap the cross ('X') in the lower right corner of the video, or tap the left-pointing arrow at the bottom of the screen if you have a smartphone or tablet with Android.

Method 2 of 2: Using a PC or a Mac

1. In a web browser, go to https://www.facebook.com. You can use any web browser on your PC or Mac.
   • If you are not already automatically logged into Facebook, enter the email address or phone number you use for Facebook and your password at the top and click login.
2. Click on the symbol that has the shape of a television screen. It's at the top of the screen. This is the Watch tab. You will then see a list of videos from users and pages you follow on Facebook, as well as suggestions for other videos.
   • If you don't see the Watch tab at the top of the screen, click the button Show more in the menu on the left. Then click on See.
3. click on Live. This option is in the menu on the left. You will then see a list of live videos of users and pages you follow. The menu also shows you other popular live videos.
   • You can also enter the name of a video, user or category in the search bar at the top of the menu on the left. Then click on the slider next to the option Live and under "Filters" in the menu. You will then see videos that are currently being broadcast, and not videos that have been previously recorded.
4. Click on a video. Live videos have a red button in the lower left corner with the word "Live" on it. Click on the image of the video or on the title below. The video will then appear in your web browser.
   • In the panel on the right you can view the live chat of the video.
5. Click on the cross to stop viewing X. When you are done watching, click on the cross ("X") in the top left corner of the video screen.
