In the Destiny games, you can use Sparrow vehicles to move quickly across exposed terrain. Unlike the original Destiny, in Destiny 2 you don't already have a Sparrow from the start of the game. You must earn one by completing the missions associated with the main storyline or by reaching level 20. This wikiHow teaches you how to unlock and summon a vehicle in Destiny 2.

To step

1. Complete the campaign. Unlike the original Destiny, Destiny 2 requires you to level up before you can get your own vehicle. Play the campaign until you complete it or reach level 20.
   • Although you have to clear the game to get your own Sparrow, vehicles are available in certain missions. To use one of these vehicles, you just have to walk there and "X"hold (Xbox One), or"Square"(Playstation 4) to get in.
2. Talk to Amanda Holliday in the Tower. She's in the hangar. Take the hallway to the right to go to the hanger after you get to the tower. Once you complete the campaign, she will have free Sparrows for you.
3. Select a Sparrow. Choose one of the free Sparrows that Amanda Holliday offers you. She has three free Sparrows for you to choose from.
   • You can also acquire vehicles through "Bright Engrams". You can earn or buy these things after reaching level 20. There is a chance that you will discover a random vehicle within these Engrams, making this a somewhat less reliable method. At the farm, talk to Tess Everis to decipher the Bright Engrams.
4. Travel to a freely accessible area after obtaining your vehicle. You can summon a Sparrow on any completely open area outside, such as Io, the Moon, Titan, etc.
5. Open the character menu. You can open the character menu by pressing "Menu"clicking (Xbox One),"Options"(Playstation 4), or on"i(PC).
6. Press Down or S.. Press the Down button on the D-pad, or click the "S."button (PC), to view the vehicle menu from the character menu.
7. Select the vehicle box. This is the first box to the left of the character's vehicle menu. You will be presented with a list of vehicles you own.
8. Start using your Sparrow. If you have more than one Sparrow, you must select the one you want to use.
9. Summon your Ghost. After using your vehicle in the character menu, you must return to the game and summon your Ghost by pressing the "Touchpad"pressing (Playstation 4), the"Back / View"button (Xbox One), or"Tab"(pc).
10. Call up your vehicle. Hold "X"pressed (Xbox One),"Square"(Playstation 4), or"R."(PC) to access your vehicle.
    • Accelerate with R2 / RT / W and slow down with L2 / LT / S.

Tips

• You can switch vehicles if you get more of them later in the game.
• Don't worry if your vehicle is stolen / destroyed. He will come right back to you.
• If you don't want to spend the money on it, you also have the option to choose between a ship and a Sparrow as a reward from the ship's master for defeating Ghaul.

Warnings

• You cannot summon your vehicle during some missions.
• You cannot recall your vehicle in the Crucible.
