Method 1 of 2: Manually take a screenshot
- Simultaneously press your power button and the home button to capture what's on your screen. You will hear the sound of a camera shutter, indicating that the screenshot has been taken and saved to your photo gallery.
Method 2 of 2: Use "Motion" on Android 4.0
- From your home screen, open "Settings".
- Tap "Motion".
- Scroll down to "Hand Gestures".
- Select "Swipe to Capture Screenshot" and check the box next to it. Exit the menu.
- Place your hand horizontally on the edge of the screen and swipe it. If it is successful, you will hear the sound of a camera shutter. The image is now saved in your photo gallery.
