Shelves or small boards are used all over the world as a pointer on Ouija boards. Sometimes a pencil is attached to it to make spiritual drawings or texts. If your shelf is made of wood and you want to avoid scratches, buy wood lacquer from the hardware store and apply a thin layer on the board.
   • For best results, lightly sand the wood surface before applying the lacquer.
6. Make a shelf that can be used to write.
