By folding five or six square sheets of paper you can make a nice one kusudamamake flour.If you make twelve flowers you can stick them together to make a beautiful one kusudamaball. Even if you use colorful sticky notes, the result is impressive and you can use the flower as a decoration or even wear it temporarily as a brooch.
To step
Wait for the glue all the way is dry before removing the paperclips. Otherwise you run the risk of the leaves coming loose.
Tips
- Make sure the edges of the square are all even so you don't have problems with overlapping pieces.
- First prepare all 5 sheets of paper. Fold the first sheet and then the rest of the five. You will be able to work faster this way.
- Make 12 of these flowers and glue them together to make a traditional kusuda ball.
- Stick a pipe cleaner at the bottom of the flower to give it a colorful stem.
- Try to wait until the glue is no longer so wet before sticking the leaves together.
- Make even bigger flowers by using larger sheets of paper.
- Make sure to make crisp, precise, and neat folds. This will make your flower look sleek and smooth.
- Don't use too much glue. Your flower will probably look best if you use clear glue.
- Choose beautiful bright colors.
- A heat gun is very suitable for this.
Warnings
- Sticky notes can be difficult to work with because the folds will stick together.
- Cover your workplace, because you can make a lot of mess.
- Be careful not to cut yourself on the paper.
- Be careful when using a Stanley knife.
