This wikiHow shows you how to download a Google Drive folder on a PC or Mac. The folder will be downloaded with its contents in a zip file. You do need to extract the zip file before you can open the folder on your computer.

Go to https://drive.google.com in a web browser. If you're signed in with your Google account, your Google Drive will open and all your files and folders will be displayed.
- If you are not logged in, click Go to Google Drive and log in with your Gmail address and password.
Right-click on a folder. Right-click on the folder you want to download.
click on To download. It may take a while for Google Drive to compress the file into a zip file. Then the download will start.
Double click on the zip file to extract files. On most Windows and Mac computers, you can unzip or "extract" the file by double-clicking it.
- You can also use Google Sync and Backup to download your Google Drive files.
