Method 1 of 2: Download on iOS

1. Open the App Store app.
2. Tap Search. You can find this at the bottom of your screen.
3. Type in "Uber".
4. Tap "Uber". This is probably the first option in the search results.
5. Tap Download. This is to the right of "Uber".
   • The correct version of the app was developed by "Uber Technologies, Inc." Please be aware of this.
6. Tap Install.
7. Enter your Apple ID and password. After doing this, your app will start downloading.
   • Depending on your settings, your download can begin without entering your Apple ID information.

Method 2 of 2: Download on Android

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap the magnifying glass icon.
3. Type in "Uber".
4. Tap Go.
5. Select "Uber". Make sure your version is developed by "Uber Technologies, Inc."
6. Tap Install. This button can be found at the top right of your screen.
7. Tap Accept when prompted. After this, the download of the app starts.

Tips

• After you've downloaded the Uber app, you need to log in with your own Uber account details. You cannot use the app without being logged in.

Warnings

• The Uber app is almost 11MB in size. First, delete a few other apps if you don't have that much space left on your phone.
