Charcloth is useful if you want to start a fire. Follow the steps and you will find out how!

To step

1. Make sure you have a small tin container, then make a hole in the lid.
2. Grab a 100% cotton shirt that you no longer need.
3. Cut the shirt into all small pieces, small enough that a few pieces can fit in the container.
4. Put a few pieces in the container, now put the lid back on.
5. Put the lid on the stove.
   • A lot of smoke will be released. When there is no more smoke and the container has cooled down, you can pick it up carefully. Now take the lid off again.
   • Now you have Charcloth. It can now be lit with a single spark.

Tips

• Do not put too much in the container at one time. Then it may not work.

Warnings

• Pay attention! It can be very dangerous if you don't know how to handle fire. Only do this if you know what you are doing!
• Do not do this indoors with a gas stove or anything else. All that smoke can trigger the fire alarm or make the house really stink.
