If Advanced Mac Cleaner is accidentally installed on your Mac, you can use this guide to remove the app from your computer.

To step

1. First, create one backup of your personal data. Don't forget to save open documents. You can take the following actions:
   • Export bookmarks from your browser.
   • Make a copy of the settings related to the keychains.
   • Save any other unsaved document, such as files and the like.
2. Go to the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.
3. Open Activities View. Search for Advanced Mac Cleaner and press the small icon i in the top left corner of Activity Monitor. Click on the third tab "Open files and ports". Write down (copy and paste) all "Output Data" related to the aforementioned app.
4. Press Stop when you are done.
5. Click on the left arrow tab and look in your own Applications folder. Try to remove Advanced Mac Cleaner by moving the app's icon to the Trash.
6. Save your work and restart your operating system.
7. Try to remove the Advanced Mac Cleaner files from your Mac. This usually requires you to go to the Library folder and manually delete any remaining service files there.
8. Remove any instance of "Advanced Mac Cleaner" that is still running on your Mac from the "List of Items". To do this, go through the following steps:
   • Open System Preferences, which you should see in your Dock, at the bottom of the screen.
   • Press the "Users and Groups" entry.
   • When "Users and Groups" is opened, click on the aforementioned "List of Items" tab.
   • Select "Advanced Mac Cleaner" from the boot menu list, and press the minus sign icon.
   • Now you are done.

Tips

• It is also a good idea to avoid downloading any potentially unwanted program (Potentially Unwanted Program, also called PUP or PUA). The best way to avoid the foistware problem in the first place is to prevent it.
• To keep such "junkware" at bay, it is best to read the messages on the screen carefully and disable projects that you do not know. This is very important, even if you are on a Mac. This tip is simple, but it is effective for keeping your computer as clean as possible.
• The aforementioned term is an optional / specific computer program that is unwanted / unused / unrelated, despite the possibility that the inexperienced users have given permission to download or install it.

Warnings
