Some types of makeup require a different shape of the eyebrows, and sometimes it is necessary to mask them completely to create an image. For example, you might need this if you are doing Halloween makeup or just want to add flavor to your look. Get everything you need ready. You will need a glue stick, foundation and powder, as well as detailed instructions on how to do it correctly. Read this article and you will learn how to mask eyebrows.

Steps

Part 1 of 3: Using glue

1. 1 Get everything you need ready. Chances are, you already have everything you need close at hand. Before starting work, take all the necessary things. You will need:
   • Glue stick (the one kids use at school)
   • A translucent powder that matches your skin tone.
   • A liquid concealer that matches your skin tone.
2. 2 Prepare your eyebrows and skin. The skin of the face must be clean. Wash your face and remove all makeup. Do not use moisturizer or any other skin care product around your eyes. Lotions and oils should also not be used in this case.
3. 3 Apply glue to brows against hair growth. Thanks to this, the roots of the hairs will be covered with glue. Run the glue stick from the outside of your eyebrows to the inside. Make sure the brows are completely covered with glue.
4. 4 Apply a second coat of glue in the direction of hair growth. Take a glue stick and run it in the direction of hair growth. Move from the inside of the eyebrow to the outside.
5. 5 Use a brow brush to smooth it down. The eyebrows should be positioned in the correct direction. Use a special brow brush (or an old toothbrush) to comb through your brows and smooth them gently.
   • If you have thick eyebrows, you can spread the hairs above and below the brow line. Do your best so that the hairs do not rise above the surface of the skin, but fit snugly against it.
   • Make sure your glue is uniform. After applying the glue, no lumps should remain. The more uniform the glue, the more natural your look will be.
6. 6 Let the glue dry for ten minutes, then apply another coat. Apply glue in the direction of hair growth, and also strive to ensure that the hairs are snug against the skin. If you have thick eyebrows, you can wait another ten minutes and apply a third layer.
7. 7 Make small holes in the glue surface using an eyebrow brush. When the glue dries, the brow surface will become hard and slippery. Therefore, make small holes on the surface of the adhesive before applying the cosmetic layer. You can make small holes or scratches that should resemble the surface of your skin.

Part 2 of 3: Using cosmetics

1. 1 Apply a layer of translucent powder over the glue. Use a brush or cotton pad to apply the powder, this will distribute the powder more evenly. Remove excess powder with a makeup brush.
2. 2 Apply a layer of concealer, the darker the color the better. Apply another layer if you want to hide your brows completely. You can also apply a thicker coat to achieve the result.
   • If your eyebrows are black, use an orange-tinted concealer.
   • If the eyebrows are red, it is advisable to use a green concealer.
3. 3 Apply loose powder to your brows. This is the last step to help you hide your brows completely. If necessary, you can apply the powder around the brow area as well.

Part 3 of 3: Removing the adhesive

1. 1 Use a makeup remover to remove cosmetics. First remove the layer of powder and concealer using a makeup remover. By doing this, you can easily remove the layer of glue.
2. 2 Dampen a towel in warm water. The water you are using should be warm, closer to hot. Cold water cannot remove the glue.
3. 3 Hold the towel against the brow line for a few minutes. This will soften the glue and begin to separate from the hairs.
4. 4 Wipe off the glue. Use a towel to remove the glue from your eyebrows. At this point, you should be able to do this easily. Dampen the towel again if necessary.
   • Don't rub your eyebrows with a towel; wipe them gently. Otherwise, you can pull off the hairs.
   • If you're having trouble removing the glue, apply conditioner and try brushing your brows gently. Alternatively, you can use rubbing alcohol.
5. 5 The process is complete.

Warnings

• Use only glue stick. Super glue and liquid adhesives are not suitable for this purpose. Plus, they won't be easy to remove.
