Omegle is a noisy place, but you can be blocked from accessing at any time. If you are not patient enough to wait until you get access again, you can try getting a new IP address from your Internet service provider. VPN virtual private network service can also help overcome barriers, but you will have to pay a few tens of thousands per month. Note: Omegle no longer publishes a contact form to appeal a blocking order.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Get a new IP address

1. 

   Consider waiting a few days. Omegle interruptions usually don't last more than a week, so please wait until the time is up. If you can't wait, you can try getting a new public IP address.

   Open Google and look for the keyword "my ip" to find your current public IP address. This is the address where Omegle recognizes you when connecting, they also use this IP to block you.

   Check your network hardware. This method is best when you use a cable or a separate DSL modem (modem) and router (router). The computer also needs an Ethernet port. If you have a modem-router or connect the modem directly to your computer, this doesn't work.

   Unplug the modem. Most home Internet services use "dynamic IP addresses". Your Internet service provider usually assigns you a random IP within a certain range when their network detects the modem. Reset the modem will give the network a new IP address.

   Disconnect from the router. Dynamic IP addresses are often reassigned when the modem detects a new MAC address. You need to connect the modem directly to the computer instead of the router in order to give the computer's new MAC address to the modem.

   Do not plug in the modem for about 1 hour. Sometimes you can get a new IP address within 30 seconds, but sometimes it takes 1-2 hours. This time depends on the carrier's policy.

   Connect the modem directly to the computer. Use an Ethernet cable and connect the modem directly to the Ethernet port of your computer.
   • You need to disconnect the computer from the Wi-Fi network.

   Plug the modem back in. Plug the power back in, then wait a few minutes for the modem to start up and connect. The computer will receive the Internet connection directly from the modem.

   Verify your IP address by typing "my ip" into Google. If the IP is different from the previous time, you have successfully changed the public IP address. If the address still doesn't change then try using VPN virtual private network.

    Go back to the router when you want a new IP address. If the above method worked, you can get a new dynamic IP address in the same way as above but this time reconnect the modem to the router. This will provide the router's MAC address for the modem and assign it to the new IP. You can change back and forth many times every time you want to refresh the IP address. advertisement

Method 2 of 2: By VPN service

1. 

   Find a fast and reliable VPN service. VPNs or virtual private networks allow you to hide your IP address by routing traffic through a server located elsewhere. Omegle will assume that you are connecting under the VPN server address and not from your home network. Virtual private networks often make the Internet slower, so look for a VPN service with a good connection. This is especially important if you regularly video chat. There is a fee for the VPN service, but you can get a refund if Omegle still doesn't have access.
   • Popular virtual private networks include IPVanish, ExpressVPN and HideMyAss.
   • You can try out the free proxy server sites to access Omegle, but most of them will also be blocked. Have a look online on how to use a proxy server if you want to give it a try.
   • If you are blocked often then this is not really economical. You should try the method of changing IP address above.

2. 

   Sign up for a VPN service. Upon registration, you will have a username and password. This is the login information for connecting to the VPN.

   Find a list of VPN server addresses. The VPN service will have a list of addresses that you can choose to connect to. This list is usually on the Support page or in the welcome email.

   Connect to a virtual private network. The process of connecting to a virtual private network will vary depending on the operating system:
   • Windows - Right-click the Network icon in the System Tray system tray and select "Network and Sharing Center". • You should read Omegle's terms carefully to limit violations.

• Sometimes you find yourself being blocked randomly by Omegle for no good reason, but actually some kind of action that you accidentally took may violate Omegle policy and they legally block you. .
