Did extraneous slides sneak into your PowerPoint presentation? Follow the instructions in this article if you want to remove them.
Steps
1 Start Microsoft PowerPoint.
2 Open the file with the extra slide.
3 Find the slide you want to delete.
4 Make sure the preview window is displayed with two tabs - "Structure" and "Slides".
5 Switch your slide show to Slideshow.
6 Right click on the slide you want to delete.
7 Click on "Delete Slide" in the drop-down menu.
Tips
- Or click on the "Edit" button in the toolbar at the top of the screen and select "Delete Slide" from the list.
Warnings
- When you delete a slide and save your changes to the file, it will disappear from the document forever. You will completely lose the slide. You can restore a deleted file using hotkeys or the Undo command in the Edit menu, but only if you haven't saved your changes yet.
