Food coloring is a fun way to brighten things up. But there should be other colors besides blue, yellow, green and red? Read on to find out how to create other colors.
Steps
- 1 You have three primary colors: blue, red and yellow. Mix these colors for secondary colors and mix secondary colors for tertiary colors. Of course, food colors come in four colors: red, blue, yellow, and green.
- 2 For magenta, mix 1 drop of blue and 3 drops of red.
- 3 For orange, mix 1 drop of red and 2 drops of yellow.
- 4 For dark green, mix 1 drop of red, 4 drops of blue, and 1 drop of yellow.
- 5 For lime color, mix 3 drops of yellow and 1 drop of green.
- 6 For aqua, mix 4 drops of blue and 2 drops of green.
- 7 For orchid color, mix 5 drops of red and 1 drop of blue.
Warnings
- Always be careful with food coloring as it can leave stubborn stains.
