Business travel depends on the occupation and nature. Most specialists traveling with suits take work shirts and other wrinkles that need to be ironed. Shirts and suits are very often wrinkled in suitcases. While there is a high price for dry cleaning business shirts at the hotel, you must pack your shirts very carefully so that they arrive ready to wear at their destination. This article will show you how to fold a shirt for business travel.

Steps

1. 1 Wash your shirt before traveling. If you would like to thoroughly clean your clothes before your trip, have them dry cleaned 4-7 days before your trip to make sure they are ready on time.
2. 2 Iron your shirt before you travel. Iron the shirt thoroughly, ironing the arrows and collar correctly.
3. 3 Button up your shirt completely, including any collar fasteners.
4. 4 Spread the shirt out on a flat surface, such as a clean dining table or ironing board.
5. 5 Lay your shirt on the table with the buttons down.
6. 6 Flatten the shirt so that it does not have wrinkles on both sides. Pull on opposite edges, if you feel that there are wrinkles, then smooth again.
7. 7 Fold a large plastic bag into a rectangle as long as the back of your shirt. A dry cleaning bag is ideal for this purpose. Place the bag over the top of the shirt, leaving space on both sides of the shirt.
8. 8 Fold the right side of the shirt towards the middle until you reach the plastic bag. Fold your shirt sleeve in half.
9. 9 Repeat this with the left side of the shirt. Your shirt should be a long, narrow rectangle with hanging cuffs below the bottom seam of the shirt. Smooth out any remaining wrinkles.
10. 10 Take another dry cleaning bag and fold it so that it becomes rectangular. Place it in the middle of your partially folded shirt.
11. 11 Place your hand in the middle of your shirt. With your other hand, fold the bottom of the shirt towards the end of the collar so that your second plastic bag folds under the shirt.
12. 12 Place your shirt on the table. Take the third bag and place it on the table. Place a partially folded shirt in the middle of the bag with the buttons facing down.
13. 13 Take the right side of the bag and fold it over the top of the shirt. Take the left side and fold it on top of another layer.
14. 14 Place the wrapped shirt flat in your suitcase. Fold other shirts on top of each other.
15. 15 Unpack them when you arrive at their destination and hang them up.

Tips

• Save your dry cleaned bags and use them after every trip.
• Large pieces of plastic wrap or other clear plastic bags can be replaced with dry-cleaned bags. Regular bags are unlikely to be large enough.
