Medusa Gorgon is a symbol of ancient Greek beauty and horror. To make your own Medusa costume, attach some rubber snakes to your hair. Steps

Method 1 of 4: Simple Snake Hairstyle

1. 1 Curl your hair. This look works best if you start by curling your hair.
   • There are different ways to curl your hair. For long-lasting curls, use a curling iron or curlers. A curling iron or curling iron will work for any hair type, but women with fine hair are better off using a curler for a lasting result.
   • You can also curl your hair by braiding it into braids. Braid a few braids before bed and leave them on overnight, or at least a few hours before the event. Detach the braids and gently comb your hair, parting it into curls.The more braids you make, the more wavy your hair will be.

2. 2 Attach 15 large rubber snakes to your wig. Attach the kite to green wire or hot, liquid glue.
   • Position one snake across the head, letting it fall to the side. Make the snake's body appear curved instead of straight. Secure the snake with wire.
   • Attach another snake with its head facing away from the first.
   • Secure the rest of the snakes by punching a few holes in the wig and gluing them together. Also use more wire. Arrange the snakes so that they are evenly, but not symmetrically, on either side of the head.
3. 3 Put the wig over your head. Position the snakes so that they do not fall on your face.
   • Remember that you may have to tie the snakes to your head to secure them.
4. 4 Tie small snakes to your wig. If your head isn't already overflowing with snakes, attach a few more small snakes directly to your curls.
   • If possible, hide the wire in your hair.
5. 5 Check your view in the mirror. Adjust the snake in your hair and straighten the wig. Use wire, glue, and hairspray if needed.

Method 2 of 4: Another Snake Hairstyle

1. 1 Braid your hair. Braid all of your hair into many small braids.
   • You should have at least 10-12 pieces, but the more braids you can braid, the better.
   • If you have short hair, use hairpieces or a wig. You can also use a wig if you have long hair but don't want to go through it. Just braid your hair into a wig and work with it before putting it on your head.
   • Tie your pigtails with elastic bands.
2. 2 Leave your hair straight or pin it up. The easiest way is to just leave your hair hanging free, but you can also elegantly tuck it into a bun on top of your head.
   • For a more traditional Medusa Gorgon look, leave your hair straight.
   • For something more classic and orderly, curl your hair into a bun and secure it at the top of your head.
3. 3 Insert the snake into your hair. Secure the rubber snakes by pushing them through your braids and securing with elastic bands as needed.
   • If you've left your hair hanging loose, wrap one to three snakes around each braid. If you have few braids, attach three snakes per braid. If you have a lot of braids, stop at one. Bend a snake around your hair and secure it with elastic bands. Make sure the snakes are facing different directions.
   • If you pulled your hair up, then attach 4 to 6 snakes to each braid. Some snakes should look to the side, some down. Secure them with bobby pins and sew with thread and a needle. Insert a hairpin into your hair to adjust the snake as needed.

Method 3 of 4: Dress

1. 1 Wear a greek-style dress. The easiest way is to buy a Greek goddess dress from a costume store, or just a white Greek-style dress.
   • Traditional Greek dress is usually long, straight and pillar-like. However, it is made of fabric that hides the body well, but "flows" over it. The dress can be worn on both shoulders, on one shoulder, or without sleeves. Usually, they have a belt around their waist.
   • For a more stylish touch, opt for a one-shoulder dress made of flowy fabric and knee length.
2. 2 Create a seamless Peplos dress. Peplos is a type of long ancient Greek dress worn only by women.
   • Fold a white sheet or large piece of fabric in half. The width should be slightly less than twice your arm span, and the length should be the sum of your height and 46 cm. Fold it in half so that it is from elbow to elbow.
   • Fold 46 cm from the top.
   • Wrap the fabric around you. The folded section should be below your hands and one section should be open.
   • Secure the fabric at your shoulders. Lift up enough material to fall over your shoulders. Secure your shoulders with a pretty pin or brooch.
   • Secure the open part. Place the fabric on top of each other to create an overlap, and then secure with pins or make small knots along the edge. If you like, you can sew them together with a needle and thread.
   • Tie the belt around your waist. You can use a white ribbon or a gold decorative belt. Let some material out over the strap to keep the waistline looking loose.
3. 3 Sew a simple tunic dress. The ancient Greek dress chiton was worn by both men and women. It could be either long or short.
   • Use a white material such as a sheet. It should be twice the length of your arm span and equal to your height. For a short tunic, use a fabric that is slightly shorter than your height.
   • Fold the fabric in half. Fold a wide section of fabric in half so that it is equal to the span of your arms, from the tips of the fingers of one hand to the tips of the other. Don't change the height.
   • Sew the open hem. Turn the fabric inside out and use straight or reverse stitching to create a strong seam along the open side of the garment. Then turn the fabric out again.
   • The top should be open, but the fabric should flow down your arms. Leave the slots for the head and arms, and knot the rest of the fabric, secure with brooches or pins. You can also use a needle and thread to secure the edges.
   • The points where the top edge will join should be tied with fabric, exposing the areas of skin on your shoulders and arms. Do not leave the fabric in one piece that covers your hands.
   • Tie the belt around your waist. You can use a white ribbon or a gold decorative belt. Let some material out over the strap to keep the waistline looking loose.

Method 4 of 4: Makeup and Accessories

1. 1 Highlight your eyes and lips. For this look, you can do a bold makeup by covering your face with gray and green makeup. Make large black circles around the eyes, insert yellow contact lenses, and add some blood to the mouth area.
   • Remember that Medusa Gorgon must be very beautiful and scary at the same time. Apply makeup in a way that makes it look intimidating, weird, and painful.
   • Use a green tone. Since Medusa lives in the dark, she should not have a bronze tan and rosy cheeks. She should be pale with damaged skin that is flaking off her face.
   • Draw attention to your eyes with black eyeliner and black mascara. You can use dark eyeshadow to look gaunt, or you can use metallic shades of green or purple for something more subdued and crazy.
   • Use black or red lipstick. If you want to look creepy, use black lipstick. To accentuate the allure of Medusa, paint your lips with red lipstick. Make your teeth black to make them look really rotten.
2. 2 Add intimidating scales. Use makeup to paint small scales on your forehead, cheeks, and arms and legs.

3. 3 Carry other snakes with you. You can put a large snake over your shoulders or a small one on your arm.
   • Hold the rubber snake in your hands or stick it with glue or self-adhesive paper to the skin.
   • If you are planting a large snake on top of you, make sure it is long enough to hold onto you.
4. 4 Take care of simple shoes. Flat sandals in gold or beige work best. Paint over all visible skin with green, non-toxic paint.
5. 5 Wear lots of jewelry. Feel free to wear antique earrings, bracelets and brooches, and don't be afraid to look too bright. Medusa the Gorgon was, after all, a hedonistic demon.
