Social networks are developing rapidly around the world. With the rise of social networking sites came Google+, expanding the capabilities of Gmail and your Google profile in general. If you post on Google+, you probably want your friends and family to see your posts. You might even want to share a link from your account so people can check out a great new recipe or song. Fortunately, linking to Google+ is easy using your phone or computer.

Steps

Method 1 of 2: Using a Computer

1. 1 Go to the Google+ website. The first thing you will need to do is open your preferred browser. When the browser is open, click on the address bar and enter www.plus.google.com. This will take you to the Google+ registration page.
2. 2 Register. You will be prompted to enter your Google email address and password. Click each field separately and enter your Gmail email address and password.
   • When done, click “Sign in” to sign in to your account.
3. 3 Select “Link.” In the middle of the screen there is a white box with the words “Share what’s new”, and below there are several different buttons. The third is called “Link”; click it to continue.
4. 4 Enter your message. A new popup will appear. In the first field, you can enter a comment regarding the link you are sharing.
5. 5 Get the link you are going to share. Open a new browser tab and find the site you want to link to Google+. While on the site, highlight the URL (in the address bar) by clicking and dragging your mouse over it. Copy it with the right mouse button by choosing the “Copy” command from the options menu.
6. 6 Add a link to your post. When done, return to the Google+ link box and click the line below your post that says “Enter or paste a link.” Right click on the area and select “Paste” from the options menu that appears.
7. 7 Add people. You can click on the “Add more people” button to open a list of people from your friends list. You can choose different groups or choose one with whom you want to share the link.
8. 8 Submit your link. When you're done inserting the link and choose who you want to share it with, click the green “Share” button at the bottom left of the pop-up field.

Method 2 of 2: Using your phone

1. 1 Download the Google+ app. Download apps using the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.Click on the search bar in your app store and search for Google+. Click on the application, then click “Install” to download and install the application on your device.
2. 2 Run the application. If you have a downloaded app, you can open it by tapping the app icon on the home screen or in the apps folder.
3. 3 Sign in to the app. To do this, enter your Gmail email address and password; when done, click the “Sign in” button to access your page.
4. 4 Copy the link you want to share. Open your phone browser, click on the search bar and enter the site you want to share.
   • While on the site, hold your finger on the address bar. The URL will be highlighted.
   • Click on the options button of your smartphone. The button is usually on the left side of the phone. As soon as you press the button, a menu will appear; click on the "Copy."
5. 5 Submit your link. Return to the Google+ app; at the bottom of the screen, click on the orange chain icon. Press and hold the field, press the “Paste” button to paste the link into the field.
6. 6 Share the link. Click on the “Share” button to post the link to your Google+ account.
