This article will show you how to check the make and model of your Android phone using the Settings app or by looking at the manufacturer's label if you have a smartphone with a removable battery.

Method 1 of 2: Use the Settings app
1 Examine the phone case. The phone brand should be indicated on the front or back.
2 Go to the application
"Settings".
3 Scroll down and tap the option About the phone in the "System" section.
4 Find the "Device Model" section. This will be the model name of your phone.
- Search the internet for a model to find out more about your phone.
5 Find the "Android Version" section. This is the version of Android that is installed on the phone.
6 Tap
in the upper left corner.
7 Tap Certification in the "System" section.

Method 2 of 2: Remove the battery
1 Turn off your phone.
- If your phone is in a case, remove it from the case.
2 Remove the back wall of the case.
3 Remove the battery.
4 Find the manufacturer's label. It will indicate the brand and model number of the phone, as well as the year and place where it was collected.
