Method 1 of 2: Use the Settings app

1. 1 Examine the phone case. The phone brand should be indicated on the front or back.
2. 2 Go to the application "Settings".
3. 3 Scroll down and tap the option About the phone in the "System" section.
4. 4 Find the "Device Model" section. This will be the model name of your phone.
   • Search the internet for a model to find out more about your phone.
5. 5 Find the "Android Version" section. This is the version of Android that is installed on the phone.
6. 6 Tap in the upper left corner.
7. 7 Tap Certification in the "System" section.
8. 8 Find the "Manufacturer Name" option. This will be the manufacturer of your phone.

Method 2 of 2: Remove the battery

1. 1 Turn off your phone.
   • If your phone is in a case, remove it from the case.
2. 2 Remove the back wall of the case.
3. 3 Remove the battery.
4. 4 Find the manufacturer's label. It will indicate the brand and model number of the phone, as well as the year and place where it was collected.
