Method 1 of 2: Increasing the Earning Limit

1. 1 Start uTorrent. The application icon looks like a white “u” on a green background and can be found on the desktop or in the application bar.
2. 2 Tap the tab ☰ in the upper left corner of uTorrent. A dropdown menu will be displayed with more options.
3. 3 Please select Settings.
4. 4 Tap Receipt limitto change the download speed in uTorrent.
5. 5 Adjust the parameter to the desired speed. If you want the full available download speed, slide the switch to the right, towards “Max. KB / s ".
6. 6 When done press Save. This will set the new download speed as the limit for uTorrent when downloading torrent files on Android.

Method 2 of 2: Change the incoming port

1. 1 Start uTorrent. The application icon looks like a white “u” on a green background and can be found on the desktop or in the application bar.
   • If files are loading slowly, changing the incoming port to a less common one can help increase the download speed.
2. 2 Tap the tab ☰ in the upper left corner of uTorrent. A drop-down menu with more options will appear on the screen.
3. 3 Please select Settings on the menu.
4. 4 Scroll down and click on Incoming port. This is the port on which uTorrent accesses download information and is set to 6881 by default.
5. 5 Increase the incoming port by 1. When you touch the option Incoming port, a pop-up window with a port number will appear, where you can overwrite the port number to 6882.
6. 6 Click on OK. This completes the reconfiguration of the incoming port for uTorrent and increases its download speed.
   • If you don't notice any difference in download speed after changing the port, try changing it again (to 6883) to see if that solves the problem.
