Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) is widely known for healing people by faith and other miracles. If you want to visit SCOAN, then you need to plan your trip in advance.

Steps

Part 1 of 3: Planning Your Trip

1. 1 Be prepared to answer questions about your health. Many people attending SCOAN want to be cured of a disease or ailment. As a result, filling out the questionnaire, you will need to answer questions about your health.
   • Most illnesses will not affect permission to attend church. However, if you suffer from diseases of the musculoskeletal system, and cannot move freely, you will not be able to qualify for housing, since all living quarters are on the upper floors.
   • If you have not been provided with accommodation, you can arrange to visit the prayer house during the day.
2. 2 Complete the online questionnaire. The questionnaire is required to obtain permission to visit SCOAN. It can be downloaded from the church website.

   • You must provide basic information about yourself (name, age, gender, nationality) and contact information (phone number, address and email address). You must also provide the relative's name and contact details in case of an emergency.
   • In the questionnaire, indicate the name of the disease, its symptoms, duration and other relevant information.
   • You will also need to indicate if you are HIV positive or have a disability that prevents you from moving freely.
   • Please note that if you are planning a trip accompanied by someone, that person must fill out a separate form. In the final section of the "Comments" questionnaire, enter the name of the person traveling with you.
3. 3 Wait for confirmation. After reviewing your application, SCOAN officials will let you know if you can travel to Nigeria and when you can go.
   • Do not book tickets until you receive confirmation.

Part 2 of 3: Organizing Your Trip

1. 1 SCOAN is located abroad, so you need to obtain a passport to travel.
   • When applying for a passport, you must provide a document confirming your identity, citizenship and photo.
   • Fill out the appropriate form at the Federal Migration Service and pay the state. duty.
   • After receiving your passport, you can apply for a visa.
2. 2 All those who do not live in West Africa must obtain a visa to enter Nigeria, where SCOAN is located.
   • The visa must be obtained through the Nigerian embassy.
   • After you receive confirmation from SCOAN, ask for an official invitation. It must be submitted to the embassy along with the application form.
   • You must apply for a Nigeria Tourist Visa. The application form and the amount of the consular fee can be found on the website of the Nigerian Migration Service: https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/pages/welcome
   • Fill out the application online, print it and send it to the Nigerian Embassy in Moscow.

   • Together with the application form, you must provide a passport, two photographs, an invitation and a bank statement. If you do not plan to stay at SCOAN, you must also provide confirmation of the hotel booked.
3. 3 Now book your flight. The date of arrival must coincide with the date of entry into the country.
   • Then contact SCOAN and inform the date and time of arrival. A church representative will meet you at the airport.
4. 4 Arrange a place to stay at the church. If you have a disability that does not allow you to stay in SCOAN itself, then arrange for accommodation in one of the building's guest rooms.
   • There are dorms, family rooms and private rooms.
   • Each room is equipped with shower, toilet and air conditioning.
   • Full board is included in the room rate.
   • Additionally, drinks, snacks and everything else can be bought in the shop at the church.
   • If SCOAN cannot provide any accommodation, please contact the administration and ask for a recommendation of the nearest hotel. You will have to book it yourself.

Part 3 of 3: The journey itself

1. 1 Plan your trip duration. Most foreign tourists stay for a week, however you can plan a day trip as well.
   • One-day visits are usually chosen by people whose disability or serious illness prevents them from staying for a whole week. Otherwise, most international guests prefer to stay for the whole week.
   • In fact, the SCOAN prayer is performed on Sunday. If you plan to stay in Lagos for just a day, then plan your trip for Sunday.
   • During the seven-day visit, you will be able to take part in various church services, watch videos with stories of healing, listen to stories of the healed and lectures from the prophet Ti Bi Joshua (the founder of the church).
   • You can also visit a prayer retreat center and meet other worshipers.
2. 2 When planning your trip, remember that SCOAN is in a hot, humid climate.
   • The air temperature in Lagos is constantly kept at around 26-35 degrees Celsius.
   • Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
   • Also remember to dress modestly enough. Try not to bring overly revealing outfits with you on your trip.
3. 3 Take cash. Many of the essentials will be provided during your stay, but if you would like to use additional services offered by SCOAN, you will have to pay for them in cash.
   • You need to pay extra for telephone and internet.
   • All purchases in the store at the church must be paid in cash.
   • SCOAN accepts cash payments in US dollars, pounds sterling or euros.
4. 4 From the moment you arrive until the moment you depart, you can turn to SCOAN representatives who will guide you and help you in everything.
   • A SCOAN representative will meet you at the airport upon arrival and take you to the church. At the end of your stay, you will also be transferred to the airport.
   • If you stay in the living quarters of the church, there will be no need to leave them. The only time you will leave the SCOAN area is when you visit a prayer retreat center. However, even then, you will be accompanied by SCOAN staff.

Tips

• Drinking and smoking are prohibited in the church.

Warnings

• Use moderate caution while at SCOAN. According to the US State Department, part of Nigeria is considered dangerous, as abductions, robberies and other armed attacks are widespread in these places. As of 2014, Lagos is not among the dangerous cities, but you should still be careful not to leave SCOAN territory unless absolutely necessary.
• Note that in September 2014, part of the church's guest house collapsed, killing about 80 guests and injuring many others. It may still be risky to remain on church grounds.
