When you don't have an apple corer at hand and you need to cut the apple into pieces, use a knife.

Steps

1. 1 Place the apple with its tail up.
2. 2 Take a sharp knife in your hand and place the pointed end two centimeters from the ponytail to avoid cutting the core.
3. 3 Using force, press down with the knife until it touches the cutting board. Continue using this technique until one core remains.
4. 4 Throw away the core after chewing on it.
5. 5 Place each large apple slice, flat side down, on a cutting board.
6. 6 Use a knife and cut each apple slice into smaller pieces of the size you want.
7. 7 Once you've cut all the large slices, you're done. Bon Appetit!

Warnings

• Be careful not to keep your fingers too close to the knife when holding the apple.
