Passionate about Lego can be expensive, however, there are several ways to get free Legos. The Lego site delivers the missing pieces for free, and their creative contests give you a chance to win big enough sets.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Retrieving the Missing Parts

1. 1 Check your Lego box for missing pieces. Check the kit number on the side of the box or in the instructions. If you cannot find the number on the box or instructions, go to www.lego.com/en-us/products.
   • Flip through the photos of Lego products and find your theme and set. Copy the dialing so you can use it later when asking for parts.
2. 2 Go to lego.com. Scroll down to the bottom of the home page.
3. 3 Find the clients section below. Click on the “Missing Parts” link.
4. 4 Please enter your age and country of residence on the “Bricks & Pieces” page. Click “Next.”
5. 5 Select “My new set has a missing piece” or “my new set has a broken piece.”
6. 6 Enter the dial number. Click "Go."
7. 7 Select the components that are missing. After selecting the details, click “Checkout”.
8. 8 Enter your mailing address, including your email address. Click “Next” and then confirm the shipment. If you decide to buy parts, the order should be free.
9. 9 Check your email for confirmation. Your Legos should be arriving within a couple of weeks.

Method 2 of 3: Entering Lego Contests

1. 1 Set up Google Alert for “Lego Contest.” Lego occasionally runs construction contests. The prizes are big expensive Lego sets.
2. 2 Go to google.com / alerts. Enter the query “Lego Contest”. Then, enter your email address and select the frequency of alerts.
3. 3 Follow Google alert links when they arrive in your inbox. Read the instructions carefully so you will know if you are eligible to win.
4. 4 Use your existing Legos to build holiday themed objects or other creative projects. Most Lego contests are held during the holiday season and Lego product launches. Try to be as creative as possible.
5. 5 Take a high resolution photo of the Lego construction or object you created. Upload it to the competition website and enter your personal information. Take part in the competition.
6. 6 Expect days to weeks to receive Legos.

Method 3 of 3: Getting Legos for Halloween

1. 1 Put on your favorite Halloween Halloween costume. Consider creating a costume for your favorite Lego person or design.
2. 2 Go to the Lego store for a treat or regret. Lego often gives costumed customers free Lego items on Halloween.
