The hardest thing in my house is getting to grips with these crazy TVs. I am the only one who knows how to switch DVD player, terrestrial TV or cable TV. And all this, not taking into account the Smart TV connected to the Internet.

Steps

1. 1 You must have an appropriate remote control. If a person has a 7 Samsung TV or monitor that supports the TV function, they are all provided with remotes. For Smart TV, there is a button on the left in the middle of the remote called Smart hub.
   • There are three buttons on the top of the remote control: the left one is the red power button (the TV turns on), the right is the yellow illuminated button (it lights up when using the remote control). And in the middle is the source button.
2. 2 When setting up a media center, you will have several HDMI outputs or ports where you can connect devices. Connect the devices you are going to use.
3. 3 To see HDMI 1 (most likely your preferred connection), press the source button until you reach HDMI 1 and then press the select button. (By the way, if your cable box is off, you will get a message that the source is not connected. Just turn on the damn device.)

Tips

• Another thing is if you have a DVD that is a Samsung product, when you turn it on, it will automatically boot up, keeping you from having to use a blunt remote to get to it. Either way, Samsung is the best product.
• Make sure the device is turned on before attempting to change the source.
