Method 1 of 2: Potatoes

1. 1 Prepare the tin product. Brush off dust and other contaminants before cleaning.
2. 2 Cut the potato in half.
3. 3 Dip the raw potato half into the cleaning powder. Choose an environmentally friendly product.
4. 4 Rub the rust and stains vigorously with the potatoes and cleaning powder until the stain comes out.
5. 5 Let the tin dry.

Method 2 of 2: Green Tomato

1. 1 Cut the green tomato in half.
2. 2 Rub the tin with half a tomato.
3. 3 Leave the grated tomato tin for a few minutes.
4. 4 Wash the product. The rust should disappear.
