To become a Yelp member of the “Elite” level means to get the opportunity to become a kind of creator of at least one part of the search engine in the service market.    • Enter your name. Yelp must know your real name before you can apply to become a Yelp Elite member.
   • Enter your Yelp profile URL. This will help the community managers verify your account, your feedback, and contributions faster.
   • Let Yelp know why you deserve to be an Elite member. In the “Tell us why” box, write a few suggestions about why you should be considered for Elite status. Get creative and be funny to stand out from the rest of the participants.

• Yelp Elite members are selected every year, so if you want to continue to have access to the Elite benefits, you need to continue to be active on Yelp. Write reviews throughout the year and be as proactive as possible. Once you reach Elite status, don't relax! You will need to apply annually to review your Elite status re-designation.
