Many people like to make stationery by painting it using the batik technique. Read our article to learn how to do this.
Steps
1 You will need paper. Take rags, spread them over the surface of the paper. This will help the ink absorb evenly into the paper.
2 Take out the food coloring.
3 Place dots on the paper you want to paint.
4 Place the paper on the table and pat it down.
5 While the paper is drying, you can sprinkle it with perfume, but only once.
Method 1 of 3: Using paint or food coloring
1 Take out the paper and place it on a surface that you don't mind getting stained with paint.
2 Take dye or ink and drop a drop or two onto wet paper.
3 Lift the sheet vertically, let the ink flow and let the sheet dry.
Method 2 of 3: using coffee
1 Brew the coffee and pour it into the bucket.
2 Make sure the coffee is cool, otherwise the paper will wrinkle.
3 Dip a sheet of paper completely into the coffee.
4 Lay it out to dry the leaf.
5 Use colored paper.
Method 3 of 3: Using a non-fading marker
1 Take markers in different colors and color on the paper.
2 Dip the paper in water.
3 Let the paper dry.
Tips
- If you dye your paper in coffee, it will darken after each dip.
- If you want to add flavor to the paper, sprinkle some perfume on it.
- Paint can stain clothing.
- If paint gets on your skin, wash it off with rubbing alcohol.
- Place something under the paper when painting.
- Get parental consent beforehand, coffee is hot and can scald.
