In this article, you will learn how to edit your post on Reddit and change its text through a browser on your computer.

Steps

1. 1 Open the Reddit website in a browser. Enter reddit.com in the address bar and click ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on keyboard
2. 2 Enter your username and password in the login form below the search box in the upper right corner of the screen.
3. 3 Click on the login button to log into your account.
   • Check the "remember me" option to stay logged in.
4. 4 Click on your username in the upper right corner of the screen, above the search field. This will take you to your profile page.
5. 5 Go to the tab Posts (Publications). This will list all the posts you've posted on Reddit.
   • If you want to edit a comment, go to the Comments tab.
6. 6 Click on a text message from the list. Find the message you want to change and click on it. This will open the desired forum thread.
   • Only text messages can be edited. Reddit does not allow editing of posted images.
7. 7 Click on the button Change in the lower left corner of the text message. This will allow you to change the text of the message.
   • This function does not allow you to change the message header. If you make a mistake in the post title, delete it and post a new one in the same forum thread.
8. 8 Edit the message text. The Edit button will open the message in a text box. Change part of the text or delete the entire message and type a new one.
9. 9 Click on the button Save in the lower-left corner of the post to save your changes and post the edited version of the post.
