1 Examine the equipment. Roulette in French means "little wheel". On this little wheel there are 36 numbers and the number "0", or in some American roulettes "00". The croupier throws a white ball onto the spinning wheel, which stops at a random number. Bets are placed on those numbers or colors where the ball can stop.

• On the table are numbers and some other betting choices:
• 1-12
• 2- 12
• 3- 12
• 1-18
• 19-36
• Honest
• Odd
• Black
• Red

2 Find out the internal rates. The essence of the game is that you are waiting for the number or color that you have chosen. To do this, you need to place a bet. There are several types of bets. Indoor bets are placed on certain numbers and will give you more money if you win. You can place the following bets:

• A "one number" bet is when you bet on any one number. Win 35: 1
• Bet "on two numbers" is a bet on two numbers and the winning is 17 to 1
• A bet "on three numbers" is (you can't guess for anything) a bet on three numbers and the winning is 11 to 1
• A bet on three numbers can be made with just one chip, simply by placing it in front of the desired number line.
• Angle or cross is a 4-digit bet and will win 8 to 1
• The chip lies on the common corner of four numbers.
• A bet on six numbers wins 5 to 1.
• The chip lies between two tracks of numbers.
• In American roulette, there is a bet on five numbers, in which you bet on the numbers "0,00,1,2,3" and the payout on winning is 6 to 1. There is also a bet on numbers 0 and 00, which gives a win of 17: one.

3 Learn about external rates. Outside bets are bets that are placed outside the number field.

• A bet on red or black gives a 1: 1 win.
• Bet on odd or even gives 1: 1.
• Column bet, i.e. bet on 12 numbers gives 2 to 1
• A dozen (bet on 12 numbers) gives 2: 1
• Small and large bets are worth 1 to 1.

4 Know the probabilities. Every roulette table (and every casino game) has its own facet. All bets on both wheels (American and French) pay out based on the probability of the number being drawn. Their advantage is in the number "0" ("00" in American). There are several theories about how you can improve the likelihood of your number coming up, but these are all myths. However, there are a couple of ways to change your luck a little:

• In American Roulette, the 00 square increases the house edge even further.On a table with one zero, the casino has a 2.7% advantage, while on a table with two zeroes, its advantage rises to 5.6%.
• Some French roulette tables have rules that help players. The rules "La Partage" and "En Prison" are valid for outside bets, but also for bets at "0". They are similar in that the players lose only half of their bet, but with "La Partage", the player cannot keep the remaining half of the bet for the next spin. With "En Prison", the player is not allowed to take the remaining half of the loss.

1. 1 Find a table. Each table has a minimum and maximum bet. For example, the poster on the table will say "$ 5 minimum inside bet, $ 5 outside bet, $ 1000 maximum outside bet, $ 100 maximum inside bet." The maximum bet on inside bets is lower than on outside bets because of the higher payout when you win.
   • Each table will have a table where all the numbers drawn before will be written. Don't be fooled into thinking that you can use this table to guess the probability of a ball hitting a certain number. With each spin, the probabilities of hitting each digit remain the same. Nothing changes.

3. 3 Give the chips to the dealer. In Europe, the dealer is called "Dealer". You do not play roulette with regular casino chips, as it would be impossible to know who, which chips. Each player has tokens of a certain color. Even the husband and wife are advised to have multi-colored chips.
   • You can buy chips of different face values. When you give the dealer your chips, he will ask you the desired value of the chip.    • Roulette chips have no value outside the roulette table. When you are done with the game and want to leave the table, put your chips on the table and tell the dealer that you are ready to cash out, and he will exchange them for regular casino chips.
4. 4 Know the round procedure. After the dealer clears the chips from the table and pays out all the winnings, the next round begins. He will pause briefly, giving everyone time to think about their bets. Then he will throw the ball on the wheel and say "Bets are over".
   • As soon as the ball hits the number, the dealer places a marker on the winning number. Losing bets are taken away and winning bets are paid out. Then the process is repeated.
5. 5 Place your bets. The first six bets are placed on numbers from 0 to 36. If you want to bet on a column, place your chip on one of the three empty spaces below the columns. If you want to bet on a dozen, place your chip on P12 for the first dozen, on M12 for the second, and D12 for the third. To place an outside bet, place your chip on black or red, odd or even, highs or lows.
   • There are players who just love to watch, either trying to learn from others what they themselves do not know, or making opposite bets to their opponents. You can do the same, but it will not change your luck.

Tips

• Play only with your profit. It is very easy to get carried away with roulette, therefore, set yourself limits in advance so as not to overplay.
• By placing outdoor bets, you will receive less money when you win, but you will win more often.
