By adding music to your Facebook page, you can share your favorite songs and albums with your friends. You can either add music to Facebook using the sharing feature available on most websites, or post music links directly to your news feed, or add music to Facebook through music apps.

Steps

Method 1 of 3: Sharing Music from Other Websites

1. 1 Go to a site that has music you would like to share. Examples of such sites are YouTube and SoundCloud.
2. 2 Click on the Share button next to the music selection.
3. 3 Select the "for Facebook" option.
4. 4 Enter your Facebook login information.
5. 5 Add the music of your choice to the news of the update and click "Share". The music you select will be sent to your Facebook news feed so you can share it with your friends.

Method 2 of 3: Posting links to your newsfeed

1. 1 Go to a site that shows music videos or clips you want to share.
2. 2 Copy the website URL that appears in the address bar of your browser.
3. 3 Go to your Facebook profile and paste the address bar link into your news feed.
4. 4 Click Tell. The link with the song you selected will now be displayed in your news feed and will be available to your friends on Facebook.
   • If you share music from YouTube, the video will appear directly in the news feed, so users can watch the video without leaving your Facebook page.

Method 3 of 3: Add Music Using Music Apps

1. 1 Log into your Facebook profile.
2. 2 Click on the "Music" button, which is located in the "Applications" section of the sidebar on the left. The information will be displayed on the screen, showing a personalized news feed containing updates for all your musical interests and likes.
3. 3 Click on the Start Listening button next to one of the listed Facebook music apps located in the right sidebar. For example, popular music apps like Spotify and Earbits.
4. 4 Follow the prompts on the screen to link your Facebook account with a third-party service. You may need to open a separate account for this third-party service and accept its policies.
5. 5 Click the Share button while listening to any song you want to share with your Facebook friends when using a third-party service. The selected songs will be posted on your news feed, and will also be constantly updated after you add new songs.
