Is it difficult for you to wake up? These tips are for you.
Steps
1 Go to bed earlier. Most people do not get enough sleep and therefore find it difficult to get up in the morning.
2 Place your alarm clock away from your bed. If it is out of reach, you will have to get out of bed to turn it off.
3 If the first alarm is within arm's reach, move the second one away from your bed so that it goes off five minutes after the first beep.
4 Place a damp towel on your bed (not on a wooden surface to avoid ruining your furniture!) Slap them in the face to wake up quickly.
5 If you don't normally hear the alarm sound, set a different sound. Your brain can tune in to one signal, but it cannot ignore another.
6 Try putting some sour candies next to your bed. When the alarm goes off, eat them.
7 Leave curtains or blinds open. Sunlight will help you wake up.
8 Reward yourself for getting up on time. You can go to the cinema and watch an interesting movie.
9 Prepare all necessary clothing and / or items for the evening. But don't use this as an excuse to sleep longer.
10 You will wake up faster if you use adrenaline-boosting techniques. Boom! You are in action and there is no need to wait and walk like a zombie for 15 minutes to wake up completely.
Tips
- For fun, if you can afford it, buy an alarm clock that runs away. When the alarm goes off, you have to get up and look for it.
- Try crossing your arms for a few seconds. This movement has a stimulating effect. Most importantly, do not forget to do this while still asleep.
- Use music (radio) as an alarm signal. The music is different every day.
- If you take a shower to wake up, use mint shampoo to wake up faster.
- Put an ice cube in your mouth and swallow it as soon as it melts a little to do so safely.
- Think about what you are going to do today and find what can make you rise.
- Place a bowl of water in the refrigerator. When you wake up, go and dip your face in it.
- Place a coffee or energy drink by your bed just in case. This will help you prepare for the day ahead.
